Dominic Samaroo This actually isn't my fav pairing because I dislike their ending, and I find the rest of the support line kind of lacking, but I really like the S support because of Donnel's nervous practicing and Maribelle's reassurance that his concerns were for naught. And I think the "talking down" was more of her being embarrassed and nervous. I do prefer her relationship with, say, Vaike because I feel like there is more give and take.

I personally thought Vaike would be closer to Brady's real dad if there were canon pairings, considering his tougher side and their disagreements with Maribelle, unlike Donnel who thought that he wasn't good enough for her and thinks better of her than they do. In future convos with him, Vaike said Brady inherited some of his Personality from him and they both complain together about Maribelle's antic's. Plus when I look at Brady with blond hair, he kinda looks a helluva lot like Vaike too. But I respect your opinion.

cheese4g I would ship Mari with Donnel or Henry for stats purposes when you pair them up in battle, they get a boost. Also when they have a child, they carry one ability from their father and it has to be useful to w/e class they become. For example, if you pair Henry with her, Brady might get the one that prevents enemies from dodging. Or if Donnel marries Mari, then Brady might get the dodging ability increased by 15%. Or if you change the father's class into something stronger, then the child might get a stronger ability. I sometimes don't know how it works. I had Chrom marry Olivia and Inigo did not get Aether. Idk why because when he married Sumia, Cynthia got Aether. Idk why Inigo doesn't though. But he got the one with the crown where it increases skill rates by 10%.

+JohnyTheWizKid This is old and you might know a lot more about the mechanics now, but I felt like answering some questions. First, if Chrom has a son he will always pass Rightful King, while his daughter will always get Aether - though Lucina will learn Rightful King anyway if you promote her to Great Lord. Second, you can choose the skills a child will inherit from their parents - they always get the skill in the last slot of the parent's skill list, one from each. It's very easy to change, so there's no risk of a child getting a skill you don't want them to.

Giving Brady a luck stat of over 50 and access to the mercenary class which gives you armsthrift makes this and DonnelxLissa my favourite pairings for Donnel. Which makes Brady a pretty good War Monk. Considering he can preserve weapons infinitely, giving him rare or forged weapons is a pretty good idea.

B4ULoveShine yes, Maribelle can learn Galeforce, so she can pass it down to Brady if she learns it before recruiting him. Donnel just gives Brady access to a few more classes and gives him the highest Luck stat in the game, at 52. Goes well with the skill armsthrift so Brady will never break weapons.

Donnel in general is not a good pick for most child units to have as a father, but he's solid as a dad for those 3. Personally, I recommend Donnel × Sully the most myself, but pairing him with Nowi or Tharja isn't bad, either. That, and the fact that you waste Donnel's ability to pass galeforce if you go with this pairing
