If Genealogy does get a remake, Nintendo could just simply imply things such as incest and the like. If it is implied, it's not directly said, right? They could easily tone down the subjects. But with a story of that caliber, who knows what might happen?

I don't think the incest thing would be an issue. They didn't know they were related, and it was manipulated by Manfroy, so you could get away with it. If not, then yeah, it could be implied but never said. If worst comes to absolute worst, you could just make them not related. It may be senseless censorship, but is the biological ties of two characters going to change the story on a whole? I'd take a tiny tweak over not getting a remake, its a story too grand to remain on SNES. Though it may be a while before we get it.

Yes, it may not be as fluid as Awakening or Fates' animations, but the unique style really does help it stand apart from the other games, and I really like that. They made a good decision (imo) to go with a different art/animation style. Really serves it well.

I've even finished the game but I still do not understand the expression on Mila's face at around 9:54 when she realizes Rudolf is there to break the accord. Before she stands up, she has a demented grin on her face. And then the moment she does get up, her expression turns to actually upset. I don't know what to do with this, but it's nagging me. It was meant to show that she was also going mad as well. Duma's madness had progressed further than hers, but she wasn't far off from losing herself. That's why she attempted to seal Falchion by using it on herself in the game. She knew her brother was going mad, but her love for him and her own budding madness caused her to do something that she would not have if she were in her right mind.

The problem is that he's not of Valentian Royalty. Why? Because Valm (what Valentia would later be called after Alm) was actually broken apart before and during Awakening. It was only until Walhart came in out of nowhere and wanted to rule over Valm with power. He does look up to Alm's legends and achievements, but he's not related to him whatsoever nor does he share any of the similar or same traits as Alm. Not to mention, if he was related to Alm, he would have searched for the Valentia Falchion and probably would have been able to use it and conquer and maybe even beat Grima on his own.

Well it was intentional though. There was no diolog in the Japanese one, so they kept it the same for the English. I was a bit disappointed by the Alm reaching his hand out scene not being fully animated, but I'm just glad the animations for the characters are so good in this game, compared to the others

Am the only one confused as to why Celica doesn't speak in when she obviously is saying something? Is it supposed to be for dramatic affect? Because it's kinda weird to have her not speak but still have voice clips still speak

Sebastian Lopez it’s sort of a dramatic effect, it’s to make it feel like she’s fading away. She’s seeing the future and she can’t do anything about it and that was one of the best ways to show it

As much as I love echoes, the animation cutscenes are shitty. The story and characters are done better than fates and awakening (come at me fanboys.), but at least the cutscenes look better. These look rushed, as if the animators didn't have time to finish. But with every line being voiced and how good the battle animations look, I would say that they had enough time. These make some of the best parts of the game feel lackluster, and I honestly was more impressed by the previous games' cutscenes.

I'm agreed about the cutscenes, but in personal I prefer the Awakening's story in first place and then Echoes one and Fates... Well... The history of Fates was a disaster in my opinion, I think the best game of the three was Conquest for its history

Yea I would if the Awakening third Arc isn't carp and the Robin plot twist was stupid as hell. As I love Conquest I still rather play Echoes for it story because my god the story is really good in Echoes but not the greatest.

I could never finish Act 4 and got bored with the game. I’m glad I saw it’s happy ending, Celica (the good part about the game) and Alm were great friends (maybe they turned to lovers but a guy and a girl can be best friends too)

HexagonalBox that scene that plays was made to justify Celica's argument with Alm. In Gaiden, her argument with Alm was about their ideals and that made Celica look like a hypocrite. However, this dream Celica has frightens her. When she met Alm, Alm literllay wore the same armor in her dream and he and deliverance are going to rigel. This results in Celica (out of love) arguing with him, so he he does not got to Rigel and hurt himself.
