Hinata beats Corrin. Corrin beats Ryoma. I feel like there's something off here. I mean I guess Corrin wasn't going all out, since we know s/he can use magic and turn into a dragon, but still.

Keep in mind that 1) Supports are inconsistent. Corrin could lose even after chapter 13 rev (where she fights both Ryoma and Xander) and after getting Omega Yato, which is ridicolous 2) Corrin wins in A support 3) Br Corrin is far weaker than Cq Corrin, who defeats Takumi 2 times, easily blocks a surprise attack from Xander and, as you said, defeats a Ryoma who was powered up from the Rainbow Sage

Robin: Hinata, some of the prices on here are at outrageous. Did you double-check the pricing? Were you in the right store? Hinata: Course I was! I went to the one that had this REALLY cute girl running the counter. Robin: So were you busy making faces at the girl, you completely forgot how much of your money you were spending? Hinata: Don't act like you wouldn't! Anytime a cute girl tells you she needs more money to support her family. You do it. Robin: There's a fine line between being a good sport, and knowing when you've been had. Hinata: I still got the supplies we needed, so it's all good, right? Robin: If I were Takumi, I wouldn't be that thrilled to hear my retainer spending more than he ought to, just because he was starstruck. Hinata: So how do you know which girls you can trust? Robin: It's alright, Corrin was pretty upset about that. I told her those rumors were all just a big misunderstanding. She did calm down, but I'm not allowed to go into that store anymore. Hinata: I'm sorry, Robin. I'm making it up to you by saying I went to the smithy that was run by a gruff-looking, muscular man. And he did give me a fair amount of katanas for a reasonable price. So if you want to duel me to work off some steam, I'm willing to accept the challenge. Robin: Really! It's fine! You are blameless in this whole ordeal. I should've known rumors like that were going to fly the minute I said hello to that girl. Hinata: I even went to all that trouble just to forge you a sword, and you're not going to take it? Robin: Alright, Hinata. I'll duel you. Hinata: Heh heh. I lost. Robin: You're certainly improving on that front. Mind telling me how you became Takumi's retainer. Hinata: Sure, I come from a long line of samurai that defended the Hoshidan throne. So I wanted to make good on that front by learning the katana to the best of my abilities. Robin: Ok... Hinata: I was also rash and didn't know who to pick my battles against. So I decided to duel Lord Takumi himself to prove I was ready to protect him. He absolutely destroyed me. Robin: But doesn't Takumi wield that bow? Hinata: He may use a bow now. But Lord Takumi is an esteemed swordsman in Hoshido. Anyways that got my mind wondering, "How can I protect Lord Takumi if he can easily mop the floor with me?" Then it hit me, I would constantly be trying to improve myself. He saw the dedication I was putting in to my training. He then gave me another chance. So on the day of recruitments. I displayed sword techniques he never saw before. And let me become his retainer. Robin: So in the end, it all worked out for you. Hinata: Sure did! If you want another round, feel free to ask! Robin: Thanks, Hinata.

@Brooklyn Lem Sorry for the late response, but I try to write these as I go along. Work and other games like Three Houses have kept me occupied. The mindset here is try to provide backstories for units that the game doesn't bother going over, engage in philosophy, and even try to tell some jokes.

Tbh, I find Hinata to be a very boring character compared to everyone else. He's like the Stahl of the Fates except you actually need him because he gives a child unit. But I still won't use him either way, because he's too boring for my taste.
