Fire Emblem: Lyn ORKOs the Fire Dragon

Lyn's stats basically are all capped except DEF. Poor dragon.
Stat boosters used on Lyn:
Angelic Robe x2
Energy Ring x1
Talisman x2
Body Ring x2
Boots x1
I RNG abused her so she maxed out STR, SKL and SPD.
Supports: A Wil, B Florina
Items: Sol Katti, Filla's Might
Others: RNG abuse for 2 criticals
Actually many characters can ORKO the fire dragon, even Wil (Using Rienfleche) can ORKO the dragon, but the criticals are very hard to get. Hector can ORKO the dragon with a critical and a regular hit, others requires 2 criticals.

I know in the official Japanese release she's 15 at the start of the game, but she'll forever be the 18 year old from the English release in my mind. It just makes much more sense.

Omg I thought the exact same thing until I realized that the bottom part has only one side opened up like the swordmaster artwork. Unlike her official art which has more of a qipao-like structure. So it's more the top of her promoted look and the bottom of her unprompted look make up her actual artwork. Sorry for the late comment, I just didn't think anyone else noticed and I got carried away

ArchVoice14 Well besides game logic. Eirika also trained. In real life, I have seen females that are pretty skinny but very efficient in martial arts beat up brawler like dudes. I guess it's just a matter of how people fight. But not just Eirika that also includes a bunch of other female characters that are smaller in proportion. Also Shadow Dragon is "alright" to be honest. Though if you haven't got the chance yet. I recommend FE: Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776. And Tiltyu and Ishtar also help create 3rd leg spasms.

Neat. Never had a Lyn who could do this even with max strength speed skill and res. With A support from Rath. Sadly no one I have no matter how buff could actually survive the dragon. Hell everyone would get doubled or just die in 2 hits so we all hid behind athos for like 10 turns till we saw his health in actual numbers and we all wailed on him like it was all or nothing

The sol katti is actually such a meme. Weaker than a silver sword, heavier than a silver blade, and only 2x effectiveness. The dragon-effective weapon on a capped unit needs two support-boosted, Filla's Might-boosted 45% crits to kill a dragon, while a completely normal luna crit from Athos kills it in one. In fact, I'm pretty sure unboosted Hector could kill with a single armads crit, and boosted Eliwood could kill it in a durandal crit. Why is Lyn such a bad unit.

I had a capped Strength Lyn. She was really Speed screwed. 22 Speed at 20/20. 23 Strength at 20/20. Granted, this is also the run where Canas capped Speed as a level 10 Druid with no growth rate changes and no Speedwings and Nino had 20 Def with just Afa's Drops, Athos one-round the dragon, had a Def blessed Farina, Strength Blessed Karla, Speed Blessed Bartre and a Luck screwed Matthew so...it was an...Interesting run to say the least.

This is how I finished the game last time I played it, after many years since the first time. Lyn is such a badass swordsman, that she simply deserves to take all the credit for the victory. Far more useful than Hector and Eliwood together. Seein her take on hordes of enemies was mindgasming.

If I'm not mistaken, Hector can double hit the dragon with a decent amount of speed... and he already does more damage. Given the fact this person maxed Lyn's strength, skill, and speed, a Hector with similar stats should fare far better (also, with him having strong supports).

Borz Eh, when I played it, with the exception of going up against the Fire Dragon at the end, Lyn was far better than both Eliwood and Hector, certainly not both of them combined or anything, but she had definitely turned out better than either of them had individually...though Hector was really damn close, Eliwood kind of sucked for me since the Random Number Gods didn't dish out stats that favorable for him that time :/

mizuboy you can get 2 to 3 units to level 20 promoted in victory or death easily in en mode atleast if you know where the reinforcements come and take your time. The only unit I capped level was harken before victory or death.

There was no guarantee that there would be a crit...if Lyn struck first and DIDN'T finish the dragon, then when the dragon struck Lyn would get low HP then the enemy phase, Dragon strikes first and Lyn could easily die.
