Let us not forget, mans is solo carrying the explanations of mechanics and story while doing the precise inputs and doing funny self deprecating commentary. Also Vannesa is so fckin clutch in adding to the vibe without knowing much about fire emblem. One of the best pieces of fe content from gdq easy

Such great commentary by Nestani and PT! Really good mix of fun, actually explaining the gameplay, and just blatant lies (I lol'd at "Myrrh is Ephraim's grandma)

Tbh, in Myrrh’s and Ephie’s support (think B?) Ephraim does state that he sees Myrrh as his lil sister, and Myrrh does correct him because she is old enough to be his grandma (hence why the commentator says that). It is also stated in Dozla and Myrrh’s support when he asks Myrrh her age and she counting in the hundreds.

the commentary from these two is hilarious. even from watching the vod i got so hyped every time nestani said “my turnnnnnn 🤓🤓”. shoutouts to MY favorite fe character alm which is a basic protag pick i will defend with my life

This is one of my favorite games of all time, I've played it so many times over the last ~19 years, and I had no idea you could control your RNG by moving the arrow or even take control of the enemies on certain maps LOL. Such a fun run to watch

Still one of my top two Fire Emblems of all time, I love the more somber and mysterious story, and the branching paths. Really cool to watch it get destroyed in a speedrun, and Nestani was a fun and informational runner!

Gotta mention my favorite FE character, Priscilla. Mage on a horse? Hell yeah. Shout outs to Nowi and Citrinne as well but Priscilla has to be my favorite because of both story + gameplay. If it was purely story, Citrinne. If it was purely gameplay, Nowi. But with both considered, it's Priscilla.

I've never watched a Fire Emblem speed run but I do know quite a bit about the series. My immediate thought was "I bet they just use Seth" haha. He's legendary for being one of the few characters in the franchise that can legitimately solo their whole game.

Well i didn't make a donation but i'll say, my favorite character is Forrest from Fire Emblem Fates. He is the best and cutest boy, and a true gigachad both as a unit and character.

I love all the FE misinfo in this. The one he believes is true is ironically incorrect. There is ONE fire emblem dad who survives the entire game and it's Eliwood, who survives the entire events of FE6 because he just sits at home, never appearing onscreen after chapter 1. Ironically enough, Eliwood's mother Eleanora is the only FE mainline mother to survive the entire game. Counting spinoffs, she's actually one of three, also including Henrietta from Heroes and Yelena from Fire Emblem Warriors. Why yes I have made charts about this. I've studied this phenomenon. Also engage has great incredible support lore like "Rosado is literally a faerie" or "Louis thinks Alfred is gay for Clanne" like seriously this is the greatest game ever. RAMBLINGS ASIDE fantastic run. PT's presence on the couch really made this. Her having no idea what is happening coupled with Nestani explaining everything as convolutedly as possible (with plenty of blatant lies mixed in for flavor) makes this an incredibly fun watch.

55:22 Actually in Fire Emblem Warriors 1 while the mother gets kidnapped, she isn’t killed! That makes her the only parent in my current FE knowledge to not die, turn out evil, or be a meat puppet for the ultimate evil. Spoiler blockage for what I’m referencing: While Chrom and Lissa’s parents are already dead, their big sister Emmeryn gets killed (brain damaged in Spotpass). Garon is a meat puppet, Sumeragi is dead and becomes a meat puppet, Mikoto gets killed then becomes a meat puppet, and Ananakos is an insane dragon. And finally Geralt gets killed.

Eleanor from FE7 survives, and so does Eliwood in FE6.
