@@steveneaton9611 This was my first video game ever. I played it when I was a really young child (like almost toddler) roughly 4-6 years old. I remember not being able to read when I first played it, so I had my grandpa sit down next to me and read the dialogue and try to explain what some of the words meant. Needless to say I don't think I ever actually accomplished anything in the game at that age, but it inspired me to learn to read before any of my friends could and once I could finally read and my brain was a bit more developed to understand puzzles, I finally beat the game. I also had Majora's Mask so my childhood memories of the two games merged into some weird amalgamation of locations and features from the two games. I owe a lot to OoT and MM, they were foundational to my childhood

Recently I've been doing a lot of Max Shuffle/No Logic randomizers to try and actually get good at them, experiment with tournament-style rule sets, and try to get a low average time. Because I'm doing a lot I'm not uploading them all to this channel, but I thought this was a nice run worth uploading. I got to dampe race before realizing I'd already watched this on the vod channel. Even if said channel already has such info and the momentary confusion I experienced today is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, it's still probably not a bad idea to have it somewhere. yeah each full heart is 8 seconds on the timer, and i believe its because they couldnt program a way for link to take damage without a damage animation, so they put a timer, and you just died when it ran out. i could be wrong.

As a viewer, I feel that the chests take something away from the experience. I like it when you open the chest and we have NO idea what's about to come out of it. It's the fun dramatic moment. Giving an idea of what's in the chest takes away from that drama. And, even worse, it gives you a reason to skip some of the chests (and thus some of the drama) entirely. But, I get that as the streamer who is doing several dozen of these runs, you'd like for there to be a way to cut some time off.

I saw someone on KZbin doing something similar who goes by “Stonee Bad Luck” where he’s also doing max random no logic with sun song and prelude start. Perhaps a four way race? Dry, Volv, ZFG, this other guy? Maybe some people from the speedrun community could work to set up a tournament where it’s based on ZFG’s randomizer settings but with scrubs and bosses randomized as well? Seems like it would be a fun race.
