Every time I see these with the Male and Female Corrin counterparts, the Female voicing definitely sounds more convincing than the Male voicing. It just doesn't sound right. Somehow it works well with Robin though. Their actors kill it when it comes to Robin's counterparts.

Brandon Hargus I find that usually Male Robin has the better voice of the two. Lauren Landa is a good voice actress, don’t get me wrong, but David Vincent really takes the cake.

Bridget Allison Ng Kaze becomes a retainer through the supports with Corrin. And Silas never was Corrin's retainer, don't know where in Fates it was ever stated

Kaze was meant to be Corrin's retainer back in Hoshido, but Corrin was kidnapped before that could be done. In Nohr, Jakob/Felicia are Corrin's retainer depending on who's the opposite gender. Silas was just his best friend as a child.

I believe time wise Jakob is his/her true retainer. Gunter is more a teacher and the Twins are Maids, they just act like Retainers. I believe the Felicia becomes a retainer AFTER you choose a side(but I could be wrong), and Kaze becomes a retainer through his supports. Meanwhile Silas(much like Nyx or Charlotte) is just an man that's close to Corrin, he never officially becomes a Retainer, nor does Flora.

Jakob and Kaze and Flora and Felicia and Gunter are Corrins retainers. Primarily Corrins "retainers" are the opposite gender (Jakob/Felicia) of Corrin and Gunter. Flora is a maid who Corrin appointed as retainer and Kaze was meant to be Corrin's retainer in Hoshido but we know what happened

Not yet, this Warriors seems to take place AFTER Hoshido has taken Corrin, but either just after Mikoto was killed(as Corrin can turn into a dragon and has the Yato), so Corrin hasn't even had the reunion with the Norh Royals yet in the main timeline.

Kaze only becomes a retainer after his and Corrin's A-Support, and this is right before Corrin even chooses a path- so technically the only retainers that Corrin's ever known are in Nohr.

It's a shame Female Corrin and Male Robin are the standards. I like the other's voice acting much better for both. With Female Corrin, you can pretty much hear her read lines off of a paper, and while Male Robin isn't bad per se, Female Robin sounds a lot more natural.

Its the proper pronunciation, Gunter is German, so you have to pronounce it like you're speaking it.
