When I first watched this anime I was very surprised why Tamaki is so weak I mean her strength seems useless even though she is part of the fire force which definitely at least has qualified fighting skills. Besides that, I think the fan service is outrageous. sorry I'm not hating on Tamaki I'm just stating my opinion.

You just don't understand the thing with the “fanservice” dude, this is a cultural thing and more nuanced than it seems for westerns or people that get easily triggered by 2D drawings to completely understand it, the author of Kill la Kill talked about that million times about supposed “fanservice.” & No, her “fanservice” is not outrageous itʼs freedom of expression in a fictional work were everything is possible, many anime like Konosuba, Fire Force, Kill la Kill, Ghost in the Shell all of them reflect authenticy and no shame to express itself with no boundaries or stupid censorship disease of outsiders trying to dictate Japanese people.

Because she was more like a friend just as the other girl, even tho she had passion for Shinra it was getting more resonable with the time what girl he would end up with, wich was great & genuine, Fire Force is really well written especially about relationships.
