Akala is transcendent. Very few rappers are on his level. He really has lectured at Oxford University. He talks about the European revisionism of Egyptian history in that lecture. You can watch it on KZbin. I still think you'd like Sa Roc. She's a poet/lyricist from D.C. If you haven't heard of her try her track: Sa Roc - "Forever" or Sa Roc - "NSFW". Yeah, we need to hear the talent from the UK but there is still artists in the US that don't get the play they deserve.

Akala does have the best FITB in my opinion, Also @International Ferg check out his SBTV Freestyles. Man talks about real issues and his lyricism is next level with it. Seen the guy live in the UK was pure fire.

My fav akala track is "Your and my children" His book "Natives, race and clas in the ruins of empire" is a great read if your interested in the nitty gritty of institutionalised racism from a British working class mixed race perspective.

"is it the best fire in the booth" for me, hell yeah, but Wretch 32 would probably have an argument too. And him and Avelino is right up there for me too. Also, if you havent yet have a look at Dave - Black (the live version at the Brits). It's some real stuff.

akala is one of my favourite rappers. some of the greatest rappers i've ever heard are from the late 80's and early 90's in the UK. but at that time they didn't really get accepted in the UK. it was like the underground of underground. people like kamanchi sly, silver bullet, hardnoise, the criminal minds, demonboyz, gunshot. all them could go toe to toe with any american rappers

Definitely the greatest fitb ever 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@haloksable2 жыл бұрын
He is a household name depending on the household. Our people wont dumb down the facts for someone's entertainment anymore. Hes already rich but the guidance is worth more than the fame. Hes teaching, not grafting. Theres not a one person on the planet that is doing what hes doing in the way that hes doin it. Fitb. Show me 1 part where hes stuttered or messed up once. Show me. Every guy on fitb messes up, even with their normal, irrelevant, slower flow. Have u ever heard anyone taking shots at Akala? Hes on his own. People cant keep him in mind coz he goes over ur heads. People prefer fabricated negativity as apposed to facts that have been or have caused negativity. Like why black people are in Europe for example. Just my opinion. Big up international ferg tho all day. Rude boy. 1
