If America gets to finally hear Akala then this beef will have been worth it. Hes done four. Listen to them in order, people will say go to the 4th its epic. It is. But you see how he got there by doing 2 and 3 before. Please share with everyone you know. He deserves it. This was 11 years ago. Lowkey part one fire in the booth! Bars for weeks in about 8 minutes. Ocean Wisdom x P Money Breathin is the man for flows. His collab with OG PMoney is fairly recent. He has many flows on that. song. He also did a collab with Method Man.

Thank you for your reaction mate. I've watched a lot of US reaction videos to UK rappers and this is one of the best. The reason I say that is because you're genuine. You understand the music. That shines through in your video. It's authentic. Keep it up and keep listening to UK / hip hop. We're really proud of our scene and we love sharing it with the world. Liked and subbed

I think part 2 is the best. It’s first 4 bars are pretty weak but then it just opens up the and switches it up and down, hits it double time towards the end of the first beat. The message is the strongest of the 4 to be sure and he’s does two different beats. Part 4 has the best flow but this is his best FITB. Dude is legit the best.
@xslegion23502 жыл бұрын
British HipHop used to have such a Conscious Message coupled with a distinctly Dark British hard Delivery, this gained the attention and a huge following of Germans in the 90's, alot of it rare and only found on white Labels and Mixtapes, my favourite U.K rapper of all time and someone that came sometime before Akala (Props) with a huge conscious message was Silent Eclipse aka MCD, The album Psychological Enslavement by Silent Eclipse, is still to this day my favourite Album. I would love to see you pick a couple of tracks from that Album!

The UK has its own history of police brutality; you don't need a gun to injure someone. We have inner city poverty , we have violent crime, racial tensions and economic inequality - the history of racism in the UK is different in many respects to that of the USA, but it is still a factor, and fewer guns does not equate to a more gentle society, just a little less well armed. Akala had a difficult start - he goes into a bit of his story in FitB 2 so I won't spoil any details. Great reaction :) Looking forward to the rest

It shows Akala has sat down and really thought about issues. Man this brother is deep and intellectual and spits knowledge rather than typical trash that has come to be known as modern rap. This type of music just wouldn’t be popular by the music system. Talking killer other blacks will be pushed but type of intellectual rap will never see the light of day because people have been so dumb down with the trash that is popular that they think it’s the norm!

Incase you didn't know already he's a, poet, rapper (obvz), author, song writer, journalist and abit of a political activist. He lectures at Oxford and has a higher iq than what Oxford and Harvard require. (That's one of his lines in a FITB) owns libraries, businesses and owns his own record label. He's been touring all around the world doing shows but isn't as renown as drake, Eminem or even stormzy. lyrically he's a philosopher in my opinion.

BTW lowkey, akala, mic righteous & English frank were all part of the peoples army..... so each one has a similar conscious rap style and obviously like you said in the lowkey reaction.... These sort of artists tend to be blackballed by the mainstream sadly, 😔 or at least until they get so big that the labels can't ignore them anymore which was pretty hard b4 we had KZbin and all 4 are older artists now.... Probably why Dave managed to break through because he's younger? 🤔
