That's a rather elaborate setup. South Station in Boston MA has a Simplex 4100U voice-evac system that has a bunch of auxiliary panels connected to it, along with the original Thorn-Kidde cabinet that was gutted and is now used for terminal wiring.

@@alexandersalarms5380 Pretty much. It was an Autocall voice-evac system rebranded by Kidde-Thorn. Before they merged, Kidde-Thorn would actually rebrand Autocall's addressable voice-evac systems. This allowed Simplex to use their Thorn-Autocall -to-4100U upgrade kit.

At my school, they do use a key to set the system off. Our high school building has a Simplex 4003 Voice Evac system with Wheelock speaker strobes.

What does the Gameday Alarm Abort button do? Does it just shut the NACs off or something?

+Nick Piegari when in gameday mode, of an alarm is received, there are 2 minutes to abort the alarm before it sounds the audible/visual signals... unless there is a fire

I think why there are not simplex speaker strobes is because I think it is an ice arena so then it is really cold, so they use weather proof ones

@@temporalosm Yes, I graduated 2 years ago and have been working as an electrical engineer... busy stuff. Im actually moving in the next month and hope to have some new videos then! Maybe a time lapse of the build as well as more system tests showing off the features of the FireLite ES-50X! I have ordered some new parts, but with the move and fire alarm devices being on the expensive side, buying slowly... lol
