Tried the first two pulls tonight with this build and for now without the living bomb glyph and it works fine. Took me a few deaths to get used to it but I think this way of farming Utgarde Keep is superior to the frost mage one because its less chaotic. I hardly recoommend to enchant the Rocket Boots with Boars Speed; I had problems with the Protodrake pulls and the boots enchant gave me few moments i needed to get blink off cd without getting hit. For a clean start I think its good to wait for the patroling mobs to get out of the corridor into the mob packs left or right, that saves me a blast wave cd and the following part is cleaner. Update: I was able to pull it off at lvl 70 after getting speed enchant on boots. It is not easy but once you get the full room its nearly 100% success, just time blinks and nova.

I could not get this to work, so i had to get the cloth rocket boots AND enchant them with minor speed. Without that, you have to run perfectly and the slightest mistake leaves you getting hit at the last second of blink. Mostly for the second pull

On the second pull, you are able to get into range of that back pack at level 74 and you're just barely squeezing in that last living bomb before the block. How do you pull that at level 70?

Pull order at pull #2: 1. Living bomb on the dragon that comes down while hes more than halfway down. 2. you can walk forward to the proto-drake handler that waites for the drake you just LBed to cast an living bomb on the proto drake right of him. I think you can't pull the waiting one until the other drake has come down so he gets pulled either way as soon as the drake came down and his bomb exploded. 3. LB on the drake at the exit to first boss. 4. LB on the single drake in the niche. 5. Run in pull range to the pack thats left, towards the entrance and body pull them and ice block. 6. Wait for all mobs to gather around you, cancel iceblock and blink. 7. Dont forget the last drake in the niche on your way out. Also doable after you died and the one drake that flies down is already on the ground. Just LB the drake thats now down on the ground, LB the drake behind you at the exit to the first boss, LB on niche drake and body pull/iceblock the from #5 so you face lightly towards the last pack (the pack thats right of the flying down dragon pack) so you blink in LB range of them and LB them on your way out like the other drake in the niche.

Its not entirely necessary but you can certainly utilize a lot of items and consumables in game to up the efficiency. Good thinking!

@@zaprasenejsmetak1107 Pull 1 and 2 are relatively save without rocket boots. Pull 3 can be done without them too but the chance to die is higher. On all pulls your chance to die is higher without rocket boots than with them for a few reasons: 1. Sometimes your blink is bugged and you blink on spot or not the full distance. Rocket Boots can save you in that situations to gain distance. 2. Sometimes you blink in an obstacle, e.g. an crate and you get stuck for a few seconds. 3. Sometimes your kiting isnt perfect and and mobs come closer to you than they normally would. Thats more fatal at the 2nd and especially the 3rd pull because you will eat more spear or knife throws. No matter if with or without rockets boots I highly recommend to enchant your boots with boars speed and maybe skip pull #3 if you already have a higher death rate within pull #1 and #2. XP gain from #3 is around 1-2% so it's not worth it when you die once at a run.

@@xDawhite On pull 2 after I ice blocked to gather the mobs I blink and run through the door to the first room. While doing that I also pull the last drake in the corner like shown in the video. After I'm down the stairs I blink again. The mobs are very close to me at that second blink. I blink along the outer wall not straight through the middle where the anvils are so the mobs tend to have a longer way at the outer circle. The rest is like on pull one. The problem on this pull for you could be that you either blink too much through the middle instead at the outer side of the room or you blink too much towards the outside where a blink through the middle is necessary. You're aiming for a path along the outer wall for as much mobs as possible and keep them away from taking a straight line through the middle because this distance would be the shortest to you. Have a look at the video where he's blinking to on that pull, I can't explain it proper because I always blinked like my feeling told me to and after a few pulls it was routine. If I remember correctly I always stood as much along the outer wall as possible and rarely blink or boosted through the middle but I maybe remember wrong. What I can say for sure is that using rocket boots on that pull led to more problems for me because the mobs came straight through the middle for me whereas don't use rocket boots and just blink as soon as I was down the stairs around the corner kept mobs more towards the outside. I only used rocket boots when my blink was on CD and the mobs about to hit me. I advise to not skill the insta chance on flame strike and all defensive skills in fire and arcane tree instead, like the damage reduction below a certain percentage of HP, the armor increase for each point of intelligence in arcane and the CD reduction of cone of cold and frost nova in frost tree. The last one doesn't help with the drake's that much but it's a game changer on the other pulls. Also, when I gathered all the drake's and their handlers and I'm down the stairs I had cast a lot of human bombs already. The more human bombs you cast and the more time you're not casting it affects the time of those mobs on full speed what raises the chance getting hit on your tango around room 1. Oh, and it's quite normal on this pull that the drake's tend to move more along the outside and the handlers more to the inside of the circle in room 1 because they sometimes stop for a moment and cast their throw ability.

The thing is if you have a mage and they only nerf the xp, then you can just lock your xp so your mage stays lvl 70 and then boost up your alts or other people to lvl 80. That way the people that you boost willl get more xp as it will treat your mages as the boostie and the real boosties as the ones boosting. We call this a reverse flip flop.

Are Zanzas really that bad to get? I assume all World First Mages will have Warlock alts to go back if they need. But I can see it being really annoying to have to re-summon yourself back to Utgarde Keep. I love the heavy usage of Blink and the Glyph. It looks high skill, higher than other boosts I've seen. My prediction is that it will be the highest XP to just stay inside all the time. Or MAYBE there is an open world spot out there that gives good XP in between pulls. Whoever finds that spot will be the first to 80 for sure.

In my opinion theyre not and they make the pull much safer. I think that knowing you can do it without it is a plus, setting the baseline. I truly hope Blizzard doesn't nerf this due to the fact that this is, as Blizzard said directly "innovation, exploring, and pushing the boundaries of classes" with no pathing manipulation or otherwise.

@@davidfox990 First off you need minor run speed and the blink glyph as decribed. The thing I "think" I did wrong, was make alot of small ajustments while running, insted of going as far as possible in a straigh line. I also found the closer towards the wall you run, the easier. Then I started having a swiftnesspotion as backup for when it got to close, and on those runs, the swiftpotion was enough to get me up front of the run again, and then the dragons die before they would catch up to me.

molten armor definitely. ice armor is completely useless for two reasons: 1. this farm doesn't rely on slowing mobs at all, blink is all you need and in case of emergency you have db, bw, coc, nova 2. you don't want to get hit anyway since that could be your death instantly and the slow effect won't do shit better to go with increased crit chance from molten armor. mage armor won't do anything either because you're not casting spells that have a cast time, just instants

Tested it with fresh gear on a fresh server. The mobs patrol totally different now, slowing +hitting me a lot. Without movement-pot or so..im only dying ^^ Edit: With a bit practise i nearly made it, but went OOM then..and died bec. of no mana. With nearly 3k mana less..its tough.
