Boosting is more difficult than raiding

this sux. why theyhad to nerf frost mage aoe kite potential that was in vanilla 2019 and tbc. 75% daze. now its 65% only in wotlk. mobs come out of blizzard faster... i had fun in 2019 launch but now idk if i wanna leave retail agane...

this is really difficult to do. Not to mention the stress. Everything has to go exactly right. I mistake and your done. I have a lvl 60 mage. I've been trying to learn this pull for 2 days. I barley have the second room. I always miss a jump, or some mob runs faster than the others, or the little nature imps to a ton of damage to me after they eat through my nature potion. You also have to be speced for this pull and take a big hit in raids. Trust me this shit isn't easy.

tried this as a fire mage, they added more mobs in random places to make it much harder to do. there are 2 extra mobs in the starting hall way compared to any video i see on here

It is precisely obsession with speedrunning this game that has ruined it and gave rise to a giant cesspool of greed and current pay to win status of the game. What we want is for people to boast how cool it was to level very slow and explore every nook in the game before they got to the end. People who skip or speedrun leveling are missing out and the game suffers from its performance and speed obsessed culture.

such a waste of time, i mean by the time you finish this mess, a decent normal group would've progressed about halfway through purple at least. Why would you do this? No bosses are in the pull, only trash mobs and trash mobs as we know drop trash loot, an epic might drop every 100th run and not even every run does a blue drop, and even if it drops it's like a lvl 45-50 blue, so what like 20g? That's the cost of your consumables. Ok you fill your bag with gray stones and scales and vendor trash, maybe full bags will net like 10-20g? Not to mention, barely any quests can be done as no bosses are pulled. Do you go to them afterwards or? Waste of time. If it's for XP, forget about it. Everything is gray for the level 60, meaning anybody you're boosting has like a 50-75% penalty in XP gained and would gain more by running normally with a similarly level group. The level 60 would also gain more by say.... getting orbs in strath live... farming winterfall firewater or hell, even just fishing floating debris in Feralas if it's a good night. TL;DR what a waste of time for everybody involved this looks like, play the game normally and profit more and look less stupid doing it.

I could not get this to work, so i had to get the cloth rocket boots AND enchant them with minor speed. Without that, you have to run perfectly and the slightest mistake leaves you getting hit at the last second of blink. Mostly for the second pull

Update: I was able to pull it off at lvl 70 after getting speed enchant on boots. It is not easy but once you get the full room its nearly 100% success, just time blinks and nova.

you should always loot since you get locked under 15min :) And if you are a tailorer you get those extra nice cloth in the bag aswell.

I was able to do it finally at lvl 71 in booster gear. Hella difficult but when I got the hang of it man it felt so rewarding. It does seem like fire is easier, but frost is cool and if it's possible I don't always mind the challenge lol. Thanks for the video showing it's possible!

They nerfed frost in this dungeon and not fire? I really love frost even if it would be slower is it still possible to do it? I´m new to mage sorry..

i highly recommend getting revered with ZG and get 'Swiftness of Zanza' elixir (+20% speed)

Get the minor speed enchant from TBC and put it on your boots ;]
