hey cartoonz have u noticed any fire mage glitches? it might only be for lvl80 pve cause yesterday while i was tanking all mages were doing insane amounts of damage (for example i was tank i had about 56k health with buffs and the mages were hiting 68k with a single channeled pyroblast and using it with about a 1.5s cast time) just wondering if u have noticed anything like this while uve been playing

i don't think you have enough crit full buffs which mage supplies themselves with i get 30% crit while maintaining hit cap

But remember - pvp power makes primary stats scale better, and vice versa, so you should increase them both equally. Think about it, say you get to 100% pvp power, but you have no str/int/agi. You're perfectly bypassing resilience and doing extra damage - but you're only doing 5 damage because that's all you have. Likewise, what's the point of hitting someone for 100 damage if it's 95% reduction? You need the balance, which charts have shown, because str/agi/int makes pvp power scale, viceversa

Hey Cartoonz, i've been following you for a while (i know i started my comment on the last vid with this) and i have respeced to fire. However the main difficulty i am having in arenas is not being able to get away from a mele cleave or any mele class for that matter. As soon as a warrior switches to me i'll do any number of things, nova, dragon's breath, blink; but everytime i end up getting shit on in the end, i have pretty good gear, both my resil and pvp power are slightly higher than yours.

@AyfoZ94 alter time best used right when pyro blast procs as an offensive so that u have to in a row, combustion best used after u have all ur burns on the target or as a defensive to stop a cast or an assault fire breath also to stop a cast or an assault fire mages if times right are awesome for soloing healers u got deep freeze, combustion, CS, fire breath & great burst

Mastery should be last for a fire Mage in PvP. It should go; hit, PvP power, Intellect, resil, crit, haste, mastery

e_e dude, Mastery is extreamly crucial for a fire mage, More so than Hit or even Crit chance, Let's say you managed to get up to 5,95% hit and 44% mastery (My stats in the two as of now) Let's say i crit a target with my Hot Streak Pyroblast for 80k damage (i got 483 PVP gear), that target will now burn for 36k every 2 seconds for 8 sec or whatever it is, Now, if i were to miss that, i'd die, But if it hit, That one guy would be fuckt, You must think way towards as a mage, not "in the moment"
