Common wubbox on oasis is just.. so insanely over-animated it's crazy. It snaps to about 5 different poses in the span of 3 seconds, making none of them feel very tied to the actual music the monster is playing. ESPECIALLY that final "deactivation" animation being snapped immediately downward and snapped back up to the normal idle pose in under a second. Meanwhile rare and epic have the perfect balance between snapping quickly to a pose and holding poses for long notes, they're animated with a lot of care.

These new Wubboxes are STUNNING! I REALLY thought they would ruin the song, but the Epic Wubbox blends in perfectly, the shards crashing is super cool, and the Rare Wubbox didn’t say “Error…E-e-e-e-error…Buffer overflow…” like I thought he would and like he does on Fire Haven, it just doesn’t sound the same with the Rare Wubbox, but it’s still not bad!
