Tip for curing. Preform your faceting material prior to drying it totally for the cure of undirected cracks like in slabs. If it is the right size it will just pull in the corners & not apart. Crazy makes itself obvious. Large nodules will spheroidal weather in flakes. That whole opal shrinking thing.

Never. They did have precious opal in white logs from by Gabbs, NV. The buyers were known to visit Virgin Valley Yearly, but never made/bought claims.
