I think Tom has a bit of metal in him. I'm a Slayer, Pantera, old Metallica fan. But I really like the crossover type bands that mix genres. Nightwish was my first, followed by Evanescence, Amaranth, Eyes Set to Kill, and somehow led to Lindsey Stirling(one of the best violinists on Earth). But Tom crosses barriers because he's not a sheep. No Good Bastard and No Response proves that. He's literally trying to bring people together through his music.

I'm a boomer and with aging comes appreciation. I'm so lucky to have had home economics in middle school. We were taught the basics on skills needed for adulthood. Cooking, baking, sewing, proper hygiene, dating and budgeting. Boys were taught how to build or repair. Now it's what sex do you identify with? Safe spaces, cancel culture, and so on.

Goverment here pushed out marriage, having kids etc in the 80s. Make your own choises, but do not think having no kids is the smartest choise. When 40/50 you regret when looking back on it. Research it, you will find it out.having 4/5 kids or nu kids including myself... be balanced in life is my life advice. I know a lot gave same regret. Learn from those who already made that choise. Lucky my wife had a kid already that was my most precious gift.

This whole song went right over your head. He's not making a case for not having children or that free will doesn't exist. He's making the point that there is system that is manipulating people into being servants. And that they perpetuate the system by indoctrinating every new generation starting at birth and conditioning them to create new servants. The only way to break that system is for people that aren't blind to it to exercise their free will and have their own children. If you're advocating for people that aren't blind to the reality to avoid having children then you're literally serving the system by insuring that the only children being born will the ones born into the system.
