Far cry is just much more focused on fire than anything in game. They even progammed the fire progamme differently in the 2nd series (i mean they focus on other things too but fire is something more for them)

Green grass doesn't burns so easily, but dry grass does, that's why some games have more fire spreading than others, like Far cry 2 (Africa) and RDR2 (North America). Except for Cyberpunk, literally trash.

Far Cry 2 has the best fire physics in any Ubisoft game to date even as nearly as realistic as RDR2 at it came out in 2008. Cyberpunk 2077 on the other hand has the same fire physics as GTA III a 2001 game that as fires burning underwater unfortunately Claude can’t swim.

Making fire effects that are remotely beleavable must be an absolute nightmare for devs. I don't think I have ever seen a game do it right before. Even Far Cry and Red Dead Redemption dont quite reach the mark. Likely because the amount of processing it would take to simulate all of that might be enough to set your CPU on fire.
