Messing around with Fire and having fun with friends. Im not the best at poi, but still learning and just having fun ... with some added DUB-STEP! whoohoo! lol : )

That’s not the most dangerous part about it. It’s the possibility of cracking your head open or taking your eye out if you do one wrong move. The ends of the poi have metal base to allow good gravity and that metal base can cause terrible injuries. I’m a poi spinner myself - these are stuff you learn the hard way. Lol

Even though Seth isn't being very nice with how he is saying it, at his behest I went and checked out some of his poi videos to see if he can at least back up what he is saying and he is indeed better than this guy. This guy is just faster and as any good spinner worth his weight in kevlar knows, speed isn't everything. Seth you got some amazing flow, great planes and a lot of your flowers down pat. But that is no reason to insult, you are upset that people are giving him credit for being good when "you're better". That is great, but no reason to not give respect where respect is due. This guy definitely doesn't suck. I've been trying to master something similar to the spinning jump he does at 1:11 for almost a year and still don't have it down perfectly. He obviously has some level of control. But most importantly there is just no need to show that kind of disrespect. We all spin here, we are supposed to respect each other and help each other out. Not get jealous cause someone is getting attention from girls and you're better.

My daughter and I are learning how to spin poi. I am not good with fire though the last time I tried I almost blew my eyebrows off lol... When I get better, I would like to teach poi to others. It's such an amazing art. And you did great!! :)

people first start this in light without fire, then you go to light with fire, then you go dark with fire. if you start directly in the dark with fire, then its dangerous, but you get skilled from daytime practise :D
