From one of the authors of the US NLT Design and Construction Guide, this presentation covers the use of Nail-Laminated Timber (NLT) in accordance with the 2015 International Building Code (IBC). Discussion will include code requirements for NLT floors and roofs under the current prescriptive provisions, and how NLT may be further implemented into building design where justified by testing, calculation or engineering judgement.
