Derek I was a communications tech for 35 years. You can definitely buy a roll of flat ribbon cable with the correct number of conductors and the connector you need. Then cut it to length and crimp on the connector with the crimping tool. We always use AMP brand.

Nice to see this rig getting some love. On the steering, not sure what the wheelbase is but there are many epas options out there that won't hit the wallet too hard. If you get sick of the dead spot, which seems awful even with that thing cranked, maybe look into the 2011-2014 mustang rack. I did that swap on my 2006 and it's amazing. Its on the comfort setting out of the box and it's just fine.

Derek, If you ever need zip ties that have rubber to protect wires and hoses, there are special zip ties available with rubber strips on each side and they are very gentle on wires. You can definitely get that ribbon else where, especially if you don't mind putting the connectors on yourself. It's not hard (no soldering, just press on) you just have to pay attention which direction it goes. Looks like probably just a 0.05" pitch ribbon with 0.1" pitch cable mount IDC connectors. Places like Mouser and DigiKey should have it. It looked like one end of the cable was a male? Odd for a ribbon cable, unsure if they actually make male IDC connectors like that, it's probably just a female with a male to male header glued into it. Can try to get you links with some measurements of the cable and plugs if needed. Anyways great video!
