just curious why none cut the dry grass earlier?
@michaelpass21763 жыл бұрын
Why I didn’t cut grass earlier, good question? This pass winter has been rough on me, started back in OctoberI had lung problems two diseases I was fighting with my primer health doctor. By End of November I was ok by my Dr. then I had kidney and hernia problem at the same time . The Kidney was taken care of cirstI had a blockage in the right tube going to the bladder and in the left Kidney
@jimingpeng52033 жыл бұрын
@@michaelpass2176 Sorry for the disease you have been fighting. The question is not for any individual. Rather, it is about the forest management. If the forest management department in west coast can hire people to clean up the dry grass and debris, then there won't be so many wildfires. The dry grass and debris are the fuels for wildfires. If you leave them untouched, then the chance for wildfires is almost 100%.

In a lot of places they aren't cutting the grass on the highways and freeways because if they hit a rock it will throw sparks and cause a fire. By us they have been cutting the last few days because we got some heavy rains, in other places they have been cutting grass while being accompanied by a couple of brush trucks and a tanker
@jimingpeng52033 жыл бұрын
@@johnsorensen7292 you can cut the grass when it is still green.
@michaelpass21763 жыл бұрын
@@jimingpeng5203 Jiming, I’m guessing is resources an money. It send they cut where most folks see as cheap way out. In the long run we all pay for the bad decision s by others. Just a few hours ago grass fire reported By news fire Pullman, WA. As the crow fly’s about five min. from my home, road miles 45 or so. I live in Idaho NNE of Pullman, WA.

Trying to answer was chopped off. I was in and out of hospital with many health problems.By April pretty much was clear. On 15 May my wife and I both came down with COVID she in hospital for over a week. I was down for a week, but had nagging cough for a month. June our lawn mower guy started moving. He missed the grass near the three apple trees. Now he has weed whack those trees and are looking pretty good. Now you know why the grass didn’t receive their weekly cut.

People have forgotten "Smokey the Bear" number one rule. "ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT WILDFIRES" And get some elected officials to run the state and put money where it is needed. FIRE and LAW ENFORCEMENT.

That's how you control fire as a retired firefighter of 34 years in east Tennessee you backburn those areas close to the head of the fire then cool the hotspots
@brandoncarrillo12833 жыл бұрын
They are letting the fuel burn and technically speaking they are "fighting fire with fire" thats why you see that guy in the first clip using the fusee to light brush at the other end of the fire so it can put itself out.
