♫FIRE! (TMNT2: The Arcade Game) SNES Arrangement - NintendoComplete

This is my arrangement of the first stage ("Fire! We Gotta Get April Out!") theme from Konami's 1989 arcade game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, known as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade game on the NES. I have arranged it for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES console.
Orchestra hits, synthesized trumpets, and punk-ass attitude: the Ninja Turtles arcade soundtrack had everything you could ask for in order to get hyped for beating down endless waves of robot ninja.

Ah the famous Farlight CMI Orchestra Hit sound from Stravinsky Firebird Suite that Peter Gabriel recorded to his Fairlight CMI back in 1982 and was so popular that Fairlight included it in all subsequent versions of their voice patches used by Konami in all their Arcade games in the early to mid 90s in the Yamaha YM2151 sound chips

@Ruby Williams Wrong. YM2151 chips were used in arcade games. The TMNT arcade game actually used it (along side other chips of course)

This sounds soo radical, the way you pulled this arranged sound track off. And if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game really did came out for the Super Nintendo back in the day, the sound track would obviously sound like what you did for sure =)

I hate to say this but after hearing this Konami should have made tmnt 2 on super nes instead of the nes. Would have been glorious.

@@dangunheadachron1603 If they would do it at the beginning of snes life like 1990-1991 then probabky yes beacuse they were not too familiar with hardware (Final Fight is a fine examole of this, though i heard it was actually an impressive port for coming out so early in consoles life) but if it was done in 92-93 then the situation would be the same as turtles in time (a great port that's arguably better than the arcade original)
