Great video. When was Rescue 1 rig put into service? In many of your videos I have seen the older Rescue 1 rig. Did Rescue 1 also close down due to budget cuts many years ago, I remember seeing that on youtube.

Thanks! The new Rescue 1 went into service in May of 2019. There were Rescue units back in the day that closed. Rescue 1 was reprganized as a Heavy Rescue in 1991

Personal opinion: you let it rev down and up a bit, you can actually tell it's a fire engine. That right there sounded more like a our old smoke extraction fan

Yes lol. There are multiple tracks along there and a few are used for storage. So theres usually always something there
