Hi Barry , you will be amazed when you ride that Basalt the first time. Don't use the throttle, put it in max assist and pedal. It's the first electric I ever broke 30 MPH on level ground. Just keep pedaling and watch it top out between 30 & 31 MPH. It's one of the highest torque 750 watt set-ups on the market. They also offer a foldout solar panel to keep the pack charged while camping. Great company!! We sell them as fast as they come in here in Phoenix,...well, when it isn't 117 outside that is. ST means step through. Youve got the Basalt without the ST ;) Same bike just with or without the center pipe. sorry for bad english. thanks for showing us your bike!

These are nice bikes. I put together several of these for a bike shop. They’re not at the quality level of Aventon or Himiway in terms of fit, finish, durability, and quality control but overall a solid bike.

Hopefully these companies will learn that the tests you run these bikes through will often require a 2nd battery and start including them with all the bikes they send you. But even when the bikes fail we at least learn what bikes are better for the roads and which ones can handle the tougher off road bike packing trips. Unfortunately, when they don't make it to the finish line we miss out on the camping aspect of it all. I gotta feeling this bike will hit the finish line though

I soooo agree 😩 thaw next trip will be the duel motor bike I asked for a check battery with them and they said yes and now that I have the bike they said no 🤣 so I’ll just take a trailer with a portable generator 🤷‍♂️

Thats really unfortunate. Theres a lot of creators out there who do reviews but they only ride them around their neighborhood or take a short trip with them, which ultimately leads to terrible reviews cause no bikes can really fail what they are using them for. As far as I know you're the only one doing the hard stuff off road with them, which is what many of us want to see.

Thanks man, that's very kind of you to offer. My issue is I tried to change the model I ordered just hours after I ordered it and they told me it would cost $300 to change it or cancel it. They're refusing to issue me refund so I am out $1,800 and I don't even have a bike to show for it because they asked me if I just wanted to cancel the order (making it seem as if they would cancel and just give me a refund, because I clearly told them I was not paying $300 to cancel) and I said yes so they canceled it and then they said well you have to send us $300 before we give you a refund. Probably going to have to sue.
