I like the setup of the dual valves. I usually mount my pumps to a bracket or plate for stability. Cpvc can crack under stress like the boat bouncing up and down.

Dude, I can't say how much I appreciate your detailed Live well series. I have an old Jon Boat that I'm going to re-do, and in my opinion, yours have helped me the most. Been fishing since I could walk but was clueless about the Livewell. Keep up the great work. I live on a lake and can't fish local Tournaments because of certain things a boat must have. Thanks to you guys, my "Little Jon Boat" will soon be lining up with the Big Bucks Boats and will enjoy the looks when I Spank That Bass!! Thanks Again 🎣🐟

Did pluming for several years ur threaded adapter looks like a 3/4 x socket or glue joint .cpvc is intended for hot water and reason some mobile homes use as hot and cold also the size between cpvc and PVC are different cpvc is smaller but do sell adapters cpvc ,x PVC but loved the video quick and easy good job

If you live in a freezing climate where you store your boat, you will have residual water that wont drain out in the design shown. THis will freeze and burst your lines. You need to have a low center of gravity drain so you can completely drain all the water out at the end of the season.

The water circulation in keeping the fish alive is way more important than the aerating . Fish pee in the water and it makes the water Ammonia filled this is what kills the fish . You can aerate all you want and its not going to get rid of the ammonia , Its only going to circulate it . What you are doing is circulating pee water . Water circulation will introduce air into the water as well as get the pee water out and keep it diluted. If you circulate on a timer you will never need to use the aerator . Fresh water in the tank is filled with air already in the water its how fish live . If you are out of the water and you want to keep the fish alive in the tank for the trip home or you have live bait in the tank from home to the water then use the aerator . So get the circulation part done first then work on the aerator done 2nd and your fish and bait will live longer . Also keep the pump low below the water line so it always has water in the pump part or your just be pumping air . I think you are going to find out real fast your setup is not going to work at all until you lower the pump to the main bottom . I might be wrong about the pump it might be a self priming pump . Do they make small pumps now a days that self prime ?

Good call on cpvc pipe. Only difrence between pvc and cpvc is. Cpvc is poly chloridnated pipe that is rated for uv ray useage. Pvc is not rated for outside elements.

Does the pump out drain that goes out the side of the boat need to be higher than the livewell ot pump for some reason? I notice this on diagrams and some pumpout kits come with there own through hull fitting. Why cant I just tie into my existing drain that runs down the bottom of the floor through the hull in the bottom rear transom. Hope that makes sense.

Did you have any issue with the pump not picking up the water? It looks like the pump would be higher than the water line inside the tank.

Yeah i did, the pump later got moved to the the bottom of the livewell

So that tsunami pump can prime itself? It'll just draw air until it brings in water?

Won’t work.. keep in mind the pump can’t suck the water up it only pushes it.. the pump must be below water level..just a thought good luck

Why didn't you just use 1 pump, a timer, and a riser overflow drain? It would then simply cycle 30 sec every 3 minutes until its full, thereafter giving you fresh water every 3 minutes. Then just a drain with a plug in the bottom? Just wondering if there was a reason you didn't do it that way.
