6:46 99% of revolvers have a gap between the cylinder and the forcing cone that precedes the barrel. This gap results in roughly a 25% loss in potential velocity from the cartridge and also bleeds hot gasses from the explosion out the sides. It is not feasible to suppress MOST revolvers, with notable exceptions being things like the Russian Nagant Revolver, which has a mechanism to seal the cylinder against the forcing cone (basically an extension of the barrel) during firing. Also revolvers can absolutely jam. If there is a problem with the mechanism, the cylinder can lock up and make it impossible to fire the gun or open the cylinder.

Gun nerd time: most revolvers are terrible suppressor hosts as they have a cylinder gap, and so gas leaks out there; generally more than what comes out the breech of a semi automatic, as Lars states. @@chrismeyers5963 he tried to say revolvers are better then semiauto pistols for being supressed, you can't supress any revolver because of a cylinder gap, the only single mass produced exception is the nagant revolver from WW2, on top of that he kinda makes some stuff up like an 8 guage firing 3 and half pounds of projectiles per shot, also he talks about the Taurus judge being effective for snakes, and honestly it's really not even effective for that if you've ever tried to pattern a judge you'd know that, on top of that back to the semiauto pistols, he talks about back blast which can be a thing on simple blowback actions but the fact that he was saying that while talking about the berrata and the fact that he later goes into mention the Browning action type means he's really just repeating stuff he has heard, with any delayed blowback pistol the bullet is longgggg gone before the slide even starts to sperate from the breach of the chamber and thus they are much more effective then revolvers that even when machined tightly still have a cylinder gap thus meaning they are bassicaly an open design, and on top of that you actually loose some feet persecond because of this (see Paul harrels video) and also, revolvers are really any more accurate then any semiauto with a single action trigger, and actually if you just shoot a da revolver in double action you can be a lot less accurate if you don't know what your doing, that's why most people who carry 1911's love 1911's, even shitty and cheap 1911's have amazing single action triggers when compared to something like a Glock which is pretty spongy in comparison (and no a Glock is not technically a single action being as the trigger actually cocks the striker the rest of the way because the slide bassicaly only cocks the striker most of the way and that the internal safety of a Glock, even if the gun does take a fall and the striker is tripped it won't have enough force to set off a round)
