Concept for indirectly telling a traitor that you are also a traitor if they try to attack you: at the bench rest areas, announce that said player was great to work along with, and was respectfully distant from you with their attacks. Vouching for them after they directly try to attack you is possibly a good way to try to communicate to them that you are one of them. There is the risk, however, that they may have attacked others brazeningly, thus making the survivors suspicious.
