Really hate the injury cards. Near the end of the game, everyone just takes injury cards because most of them don't have enough of an immediate impact to matter anymore at that point.

Totally agree. Someone in the bgg forum recommended having injuries available until the end game is triggered. I plan on trying that out next play.

@@dancheston5786 See my comment above. I houserule I shuffle them into the Souvenir with Treasure Trove Deck as single turn one shot effects like the Bee Sting and Snake Poison effects. If a card is situational then it happens when that situation arises then is discarded. I love to houserule though. I play most of my games solo so I can focus more to figure out houserules that make sense. See Tom V's Hidden Tiger & Bees video for my houserules. I never play without Treasure Trove. In fact out of 20 games I've never played the base game alone. Always with Last Adv and Tiger & Bees and TT from the start. TT is the primary reason I backed KS (thru my FLGS they charged full price plus tax but I didn't have to have it shipped and it's a chunk of change I can give back to them to keep them going) but TT is currently a KS exclusive. RG said they'd sell limited Qty on their site but I haven't seen it yet. My houserule is mixing the Injury cards into the Souvenir deck as one shot effects. Again like our burn token houserule I mentioned in the Hidden Tiger & Bees video it's in keeping with the established thematics & mechanics of the regular rules like the Poison and Sting token single turn penalties. During the KS I mentioned RG should have a Vorpal Sword. Justin J. said have you been reading our emails? lol Being a D&D player I said it made logical sense because you showed some Legendary weapons on KS ; )

Isn't this a kickstarter exclusive, as I can't see it in any online retailers, however the others I can see?

It's not technically KS exclusive; it's just not available in retail. We will have some surplus inventory available on our website and at conventions while supplies last.

Really awful expansion. Adding take that, robs the dexterity parts of the game. What harm is a -2 card Tom? It's broken. I've seen 2 people furious over this card in 2 games, and we'll never play with it again. You simply save it and stop someone from returning to the hellocopter.

I guess if me being stopped from getting to a helicopter made me furious in Fireball Island, I'm taking the game too seriously.

Dustin, Is “2 people” the board game equivalent to ‘SWIM’? But yeah, I totally agree with those 2 people-this expansion is total BS. Restoration Games totally made this sound like it was going to be the next Puerto Rico-or a total ‘Brass killer’. Now my copy of Fireball Island really is ‘broken’ after I flipped my the table because those egregious injury cards prevented me from getting on the ‘Hello-Copter’! It seriously ruined my whole nap-time-hell, I couldn’t even get a decent meal hours after that game-my mom kept stopping me from feeding because she said my anxiety was making me “Bite too hard down on her nipple”, but what does that b*7@h know?! Has she ever missed the ‘Hello-Copter’ by 1 space?! Yeah-didn’t think so. It’s cool though, I’ll get my revenge on Mother’s Day when I give her a box of my ‘Homemade’ milk chocolates. #hellocrapper
