Listening to this makes me feel like I am 7 years old again, back in the 1960s, wonderful.

This was always a favourite of mine . And you just gave it something else I like, Hank Marvin and the Shadows. Great work.

It was bestowed upon me by James Hunter when he saw I'd bought a BassVI. I thought it'd be fun to use it for my guitar/instrumental project. Cheers.

@@jethaggis I've seen James Hunter a few times. An old friend was a dancer on the touring Buddy Holly Story with him years ago and said I'd like his music. I have my own surf band, Gene Pool and The Shallows...nothing on KZbin.

Wow, small world! I also know Jim from when I worked on that show, I played double bass as one of The Crickets, which means I'll know your friend too.

Great, but who did it? Don't they deserve credit?

The original recorded version of this song was by Don Spencer, the music and lyrics were written by Barry Gray. I am unable to find out exactly which musicians played on the original recording, most likely they would have have been drawn from The Barry Gray Orchestra. As for this version here, I'm playing all of the instruments myself.

@@jethaggis Yeah I realized that you played everything when I read your description of the Star Trek theme. Both are magnificent. It's very surprising that the XL5 video has 80 times as many views as Star Trek.
