I'm really going to miss the magic missile build next season, it's been my favorite build in the game of any season.. hope the add 10 MM and the seeker rune to mirror ball, so this build can become meta... Also if they buffed depth digger pants then the lod version is a blast to play !!

I ran the time stop build using magic missile focused on cold/lighting. The only thing I lack is the paragon's to run in the low/mid GR's. Thank you for your ideas and sure fire builds.

again, I did this meme build rank 1 mainly cus it was so easily obtainable for my skill level. I went for a suboptimal melee variant. 3rd gem was a close call between esoteric and gizzard. surviving was a tough task in most of my attempts. doing this ranged is obviously superior.

Interesting, so really good for lower paragon if you don't have a good squirts or Aughild's yet for Tal Rasha (like me lol) So would this out perform non-Starpact Tal Rasha variants that don't use Squirts (Tal's amulet) and use Guardians or nevermind you said it would be around the same, gotcha! So really unless they come up with something to keep the current seasoned Starpact Tal Rasha build around, this might be our go-to till later push.

can you not use the unruned meteor version because it does the same damage as comet but will proc firebirds for more damage?

I explained that in the video, the total damage contribution is around 5-10% which makes it not worth it

@@wudijo true. But for like pushing the build to its fullest potential that 5-10% bonus would maybe still make a difference over cold rune. And might reduce lag in the end on massive pulls

the damage is higher on paper but you lose the slow/freeze and have to find another way of applying bane of the stricken at range so it's not great

I don't want generic play styles, I want like primary skill builds and choose which primary skill, all being pretty viable, then corpse builds, all being pretty viable, etc. Separating the skills based on the category, not the single skills. Otherwise we get like 5 skills per class, instead of 5 categories of skills per class. The only way I would want 1 skill builds is if I can choose which rune I use on the fly. Otherwise it's just like 50 different skill rune choices and we only use maybe 10. What's the point of having the other 40 in the game? Just the illusion of choice?

OK. I've not played much before the last season and the hydra set is still new to me and not seen any vids on it. I'll have to research it. Imagine it's slower tho than meteor builds

@@naschahoof7934 typhon hydra is mainly good for very fast runs in T16. Best wizard build for keys (although there might be magic missile builds that are competitive this season), and one of the best bounty builds in the game, S-tier on maxroll. I enjoy pushing with it (see my channel if you want, but there are good guides on maxroll, and wudi also has videos from previous seasons), but with the updates to DMO and tal rasha, typhon is one of the weakest wizard sets for pushing right now, even off season. And for XP runs it's even worse, as it has no speed mechanics, and has no space for aether walker without giving up lots of damage. In the end though, you should play what you enjoy, especially if you're somewhat new to the game. :)

Okay so ignore everything the 2pc says besides *Disintegrate Ignites enemies.* , then go over to the 6pc ignore everything after *'You gain 5000% increased damage to ignited enemies.'* Get it now? I know it's one of those double take things, I main wizard and it took me a second too lol. Basically it's just checks and balances. Firebird's allows Guardian's and does 80% damage reduction with infinite Teleport therefore it's really great for starting out. You're certainly not doing this to do a lot of damage or you'd just go Tal Rasha or even LoD. But 9500% and 8000% isn't very far off from 5000% but 0% DR and 40% DR is very far off from 80% is the point.
