It's all about the tires. Unless they're reasonably fresh/soft, you're not going to hook. My stock 205/50's performed surprisingly well in that run against the Firechicken, but my tires were a week old.

my tires are new but the wear rating is like 600aa. need softer tires. they do well with the bigger turbo now though since the powerband has shifted into the upper rpm range
