Firebird Update: More Weight Loss and a Few Cosmetics

With my goal being to have this car be under 2600lbs I’ve had to get pretty creative. In this video I’m installing the last few parts left that can lose any weight, along with cutting out absolutely everything that doesn’t need to be there.

I always loved the car, I have a friend who has a 71 or 72 Firebird with the functioning two scoop hood and it has a great 421 Pontiac Engine and it is a 30 over with a stout internals that gives him a streetable 400 horsepower and I am not sure what the torque is but it being a four speed car it runs very well.

Put the Pontiac lettering on the back of the car for the little touch of class and chrome that the car deserves.

@@johnelliott7375 I never throw anything away. I still have all of the original front end body panels as well. They’re buried somewhere in my backyard. You want to buy them? lol
