Can you explain how the interaction works in Red Code? It says "When the Pyro Predator (2nd skill) hits the returning spinning sword..." - I don't get how it works. Do I recall the sword with 3rd skill and time the 2nd skill to hit the sword's hitbox? Because it doesn't seem to work. Please advise.

the timing on it is very tight but while the sword is on the field spinning cast skill 3 to call it back and immediately cast skill 2 and he will deflect the sword back to the enemy and his hand will be on fire your basic attack will then teleport you to the enemy's location. if you run into problems during it let me know and i'll make a short vid or something.

just because of this review i pulled for him i was insanely i mean truly insane lucky i got double S rank in my first 10 summons fire brand and genchen resetting my 50/50 amd his functor in 2 singles.. who needs booba when your sword can fly.

I got Nero after bringing Kuni to Onsen on daily free pull. I experimented with him for awhile and decided to use him with Jinwu/ Lingguang with him as AI. But sigils I changed to Primordial Sun 1/3/5 and Owl for others. Because his rage will run out without retrieving his flying disc, there is room to use his single Ult to buff Jinwu again right after she ult with Lingguang. On grudge XIX, the team clears in 34s, if Tyr is replace with Hera 30s. This is without any warp and 2 sigils still at lv40 with enchant already done.

What about hera + ling as tyr support? And I saw somewhere that jinwu sigils ( the fire ones) are better than this new one , since this correspond to 1.7 and jinwu sigils 2.0 wich some said it's hypper carry

ling and hera can be played with any unit but that's assuming you don't need one of them on another team. and it may be good a option if you don't know kagu and plan on playing him as a standalone unit. but peace keeper effect + their skill chains effect is a better option.

flame Tyr has a lot of haters. He is a man, unlike what they try to convey, he is strong, and he is Jinwu's competitor. So his existence offends waifu players, Jinwu fans, male character haters and Tyr's own specific interests. So a lot of the negative comments that exist about him come from people who don't know anything about the character other than "he's a man"

I mean...he's definitely not the meta fire dps considering Jinwu is safer to play (she's classed as melee but does ranged attacks when airborne) and has better teammates (we all know how cracked Tianyuan is). I don't hate him - I think he looks pretty cool actually - but facts are facts. However, what SkillOp said is correct, the difference between the two especially at lower investment isn't massive and Tyr is still a capable mod.

I got him with functor, but i still wonder if blue code has better damage output. Even with functor, is it better to use blue over yellow? I just think that blue code is much more enjoyable to play, instead of yellow being oriented on a sword stance.

blue codes damage is pretty great like i mentioned and if you find it more fun and are comfortable playing it you will get some damage out of it.

depends on the encounter, generally gengchen will be better if there is multiple targets and of course will provide the sustain combat bonus just for being in a triple tian yuen team but in single target fight where the enemy is weak to fire i think he is s better choice.

yes thats normal, you can prevent this by changing his aether codes. red= no HP loss blue = HP loss when using sword but restores hp when punching so just keep the sword deploy and he'll always be at max hp yellow = only for people with his functor will loss hp to attack tho

Hey skillop, if you don't mind can you please help me on my Tyr build? I have Tyr at level 80 and access key at max which is 60. Combined by taking his sigil Crit rate enchant to Level 6, his total Crit rate is 40%. His attack,Crit rate,Crit Damage Levels are 8,5,6. Is 40% sufficient? I personally want to increase his Crit rate enchant but not doing so cuz it's very costly and takes a lot of time. So should I re forge Owl Ambush sigil at 2,4,6 to Griffin's Pride?

i would not recommend it, i know its pricey but if you really want the extra crit rate it will be more beneficial to just roll for 8 on your enchantments. once you get to 50+ crit rate you get diminishing return and griffin would deffinetly push you over that cap in in addition to losing the bonus damage provided by owl.

@@SkillOp the reason why I don't want to go for Level 8 Crit rate is because I will have to sacrifice my Crit dmg & or attack enchants since for the most part it's highly unlikely to get Crit dmg or attack.... with Crit rate enchant when using gold modules. Btw is there a Crit dmg limit? I know the critical damage from sigil enchant is capped at 64%. So does that mean if have a shinou mod with 40% Crit dmg and universal shinou 5 star functor....the Crit dmg after a skill is used will increase to 90%? Or will it register only 64%?

No offense but pulling for him, as FTP is a su*cide attempt. We all know meta and tian yaun govern everything in this game. Expecially since izanami is coming soon and s verthandi is coming next year. He looks kinda cool though

I'm F2P and I'm going to get him. SS + Functor. I intended to take SSS but Verthandi's announcement changed my plans. However, getting Tyr doesn't mean you can't get other characters, and it's not like AG is such a difficult game that you can only continue using meta. I still use characters from before 2.0 and run through the game completely effortlessly, it all depends on the investment in the character build. and extra information, I got all the limited characters I have SS + functor being f2p, I'm from Brazil where the economy is horrible so cash is unfeasible. What I want to say is that if an f2p player from an economically challenged country can maintain this luxury of getting SS + functor, anyone with minimal resource management can. Just don't be desperate and want to catch absolutely all the characters that appear in the game.
