An island has a variety of different foods. Fresh water is crucial. If im not alone on the island, if i get tired i can trade off searching for food with others. I'm with meg on this. Dehydration can lead to organs shutting down and hallucinations. For food, you can always find some it just might not be a consistent supply.

I'm glad Meg brought up fasting cause I've done a water fast 10 days straight . Yeah, the first few days is hard , but once you get on the other side of it , it's like you enter a diff reality . Senses are sharper (esp spiritual senses) , and everything looks brighter . You feel lighter (so you don't even need to exert energy cause you just feel like you're floating) . You're just in a great mood & in peace . Something truly kicks in that you just have to experience to understand . But I must specify that it's most likely because it's a Godly fast vs. you can't find something to eat & you're starving . There's a difference . On one hand , you're being fed & sustained by God , the other hand , you're left to your own strength . Scientifically , you last longer with water , but that could dilute your electrolytes & salt levels, which will mess you up too . We NEED salts .
