Saw one in action duirng a Memorial Day gathering. The host did a couple of styles of cooking over several hours - the results were great each and every time. Was impressed by the performance and the ease of setup and clean up.

The Firedisc seems to be a very innovative take on traditional discada/plow disc style cooking. I have an authentic plow disc to cook on, and I like it. However, when I’ve had the opportunity to examine the Firedisc in store displays it does seem to be very well made and designed. They also have some great accessories. Sometimes I think their marketing is a little hokey. Also, their pricing is a bit steep when when compared to a traditional converted plow disc, but you are getting something that is originally designed for cooking, and not designed for turning soil.

Wait… You literally turned a piece of farm equipment into a grill? I need to see this!

@@DanWhite1025 Look up terms like “discada”, “plow disk (disc) cooker”, or “cowboy wok”. Firedisc is an imatation of these styles of plow disc griddles. If you can weld then you can make your own. Lots of social media sights for these style of cooking apparatuses.

Sounds cool until you buy one and it’s minimum temp is almost 600° and all it does is sear then completely char any seasoning it can acquire. Company won’t email me back so I have a giant steak sear machine.

Nice, but..... kinda looks like a pain to clean. Sure you should be able to get it under a sink, but..... I dunno.

Maybe bring out the water hose!

It's high carbon steel. Think of it like a wok or a cast iron skillet. You're not trying to get it spotlessly clean and shiny again like stainless steel. Just clean in place with water, a little heat and a brush. Get the chunks of food off and allow the surface to develop a nice black non-stick patina.

@Corwin Weber: Can the folks with big flat top griddles such as “Blackstone” fit them under the sink?

The video doesn’t mention because it’s a negative for the product. He must be well paid to do this honest review.
