This is just a show, reality you wouldn’t be allowed to
@blenderfox9 ай бұрын
@@rachal4685 In reality if you are a first responder, and you are the only thing stopping this person from dying; family or not, you have to handle it. There are plenty of news stories where 911/999 dispatchers or paramedics attend or pick up an emergency call to find out the victim or caller is either a family member, a close friend, or a loved one. You don't see them handing the call off to a colleague. EMS/Paramedics could let their partner deal with their loved one, true, but that's not an option if their are a solo first responder like a motorbike paramedic. I am sure they have been trained for this, but I'm not sure I would ever be ready for that.

A paramedic in Canada treated a dying girl who'd been in a car crash and later found out it was her daughter. It can and does happen. Reading that article made me cry like a baby. I hope she knew her mum was there for her in her last moments.

I have much respect for the emergency services. Tough job but they are professional. I served in the British armed forces and I saw some bad stuff but your training kicks in and you sort of work on autopilot and it hits you hours later. Big shout to our emergency services and to 1st battalion Irish guards. Up the micks

@@obligatorro When you are going 100 mph and the car five lengths ahead of you suddenly does something unexpected and becomes an obstruction it becomes reflexes, skill, and luck, braking is rarely enough, you choose a path, sometimes you choose wrong, sometimes you just lack the time to evade, sometimes you lack the reflexes, sometimes you are distracted for just a moment, changing the heat, the song, the volume, your kids are yelling, your drink spilled, you need to cough, or yawn. When the car ahead of you goes from 100 to 0 in a fraction of a second even at 30 feet away you have maybe a second to process, choose a course of action and initiate, there is no points for almost, you make it or you don't.
@obligatorro9 ай бұрын
@@Wulfen73 given there appeared zero trouble for the firefighting assets to get to the incident, it's spectacularly unlikely it was a "100mph" zone. do they even have 100mph zones there? that's like 160kph. you can give all the excuses you like. a safe stopping distance would minimise the sheer numbers of wreckage involved. at 100mph, 30 feet would be way, way too close.

@@obligatorro In the US the driving test is insanely easy. In the UK or elsewhere it's insanely hard. I've heard of folks being asked to drive around a parking lot and passing their test. If folks talk about making it harder they complain about it being unfair, I mean just look at the death trap's some US drivers drive around. If they had to take the same road worthiness tests half of the cars would fail.

Looks like all the blood was from the cut near her hairline which would be cleaned up and under the bandage. The bruising on the other side could have developed from hitting her head on the wheel before she lost consciousness maybe

The wife of a 1st responder should know enough to not speak on the phone while driving in the highway. I know the accident wasn't her faulth anyway, and she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But this is how accidents happen. Because your mind and eyes and ears are away for just a second.

The one thing I'll never understand with this show is why they just don't unlock the door. The window is already broken just pull the thingy that unlocks it
@LA-st6dq7 ай бұрын
Its not about the door being locked, but damaged that it stuck. Doors, usually unlock itself wenn engine/ingnition is turned off even when cut in an accident but of course an accident can cause failure either the lock gets stuck or deformation in the door or frame of the vehicle can cause it to being compromissed and stuck.
😢 😮 Joe was shocked to hear the accident on the phone he panicked and picked up his phone 📱 as fast as he could. His friends at 51 were really, really upset for him, his mates Kelly and Brion Zevank told him to let the medics do their part. Kelly was worried for Joe he could have lost his girlfriend in that crash. Ask Matt Casey he should know of all people he lost his girlfriend in a fire, so he panicked and got Hallie Thomas out, so why couldn't Joe do the same thing for Chloe Allan
