As with any other system this definitely won't be replacing my Cobra. But well worth looking into for the reusable igniters aspect. Depending how long the igniters last this would be great to have around for testing or just shooting a few fireworks for fun.

I think this is a fantastic idea for those who can't afford the high-dollar Cobra systems, but want a little something that can generate a nice show without having to manually fire things or fuse them all together the hard way. :) The system looks gorgeous when you turn it on; the lights give it a modern, sleek look. However, at night that would be distracting as hell to someone like me who the slightest light draws my eyes away from the show.

Kyle Flounder they can still cost around $200

I like the reusable ignitor! We'll never get critically timed firing out of a consumer based product, but this looked like it performed well!

60-foot max is a scary thought. I'm just learning the pyro game but in my show this year I had a very low break and if I was only 60 foot away I would not be feeling well. Instead, I was using a $30 12 channel firing system and comfortably 300 feet away.

Thanks for the review! This looks great, I'm going to have to get one.

As an IT security guy, I'd like to know if this product was pen tested by an independent security team. Just imagine someone in the crowd being able to send signals to your firing system without even getting up from their chair.
@Juliansa5372 жыл бұрын
5 years later, do you still use this? Does it burn up the igniters rapidly or did they last a while?
@Jedimichael4 жыл бұрын
So for nearly $300, it can only launch up to 15 fireworks? I am understanding that correctly right?
@Systemdown_exe7 жыл бұрын
I wonder how many ignitions you get per igniter? If its cost effective to use this system vs a talon igniter system.

Looks like after our feedback they finally made replacements available online. $19.99 for a 5-pack of 3M
@kyleflounder97837 жыл бұрын
That doesn't sound too bad, though I've never used E-Fire before and (no offense) don't plan to so I wouldn't know anything about cost for that type of stuff.

Thank you for the wonderful review ! We are a work in progress and are looking to improve in every way ! Our end goal is to create a safer and better environment for young pyros to increase their interest in this hobby we all love. We understand that this will never replace a cobra system ! We love that system and would never seek to compete on that level. Our goal is to enhance the back yard pyro who wants to set off a nice little finale show for their family. We've added a bunch of features in the past couple days we hope you'll enjoy ! Stay safe everyone and have a ton of fun ! Psssst: one of the features is the ability to include a 15 second countdown to walk away!

I soooo wasted my money buying one of your systems..... tried several devices and barely a 10 foot range. Your product sucks.

Can you use a 12v battery? eight alkaline batteries would be 12v in series. Zero chance I'm using D batteries in this thing :)

2 concerns. 1. cost of replacement cables. 2. did I hear that right? 20-60 foot range? If so, may as well hand light!
@kyleflounder97837 жыл бұрын
He may have meant meters, since all the measurements in the manual and even on the box were in meters. At least I hope to God that's what he meant! o_O CORRECTION: I see what you mean. That's not a problem with the system, rather Bluetooth itself. This is a consumer-targeted system after all, so I guess they didn't expect you to be 100-200 feet back perhaps? KInda strange, though, I agree. :L
@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics7 жыл бұрын
They are advertising starting your show and then walking out of Bluetooth range. Obviously you couldn't do this for manually firing. Also, I wouldn't recommend walking out of range to loose control of your show lol

I found the manuel firing a lil frustrating u wud slide to arm but when u let go it slides back n unarms, but the scripted is nice
@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics7 жыл бұрын
This is suppose to be a safety feature, disarming after a few seconds. However, I found most annoying on the manual firing the inability to add your own fireworks and also the lack of firing indication.
@mr.phat_tastic95127 жыл бұрын
Joel Robinson first of all holy crap Joel Robinson saw my comment, second I def I wish I cud add my own fireworks, u wud think it wud just build the database for other pyros if we cud upload, 3rd I didn't know about the safety feature when played wit it at the house once I armed it it stayed armed I wasn't expecting it disarm after a cpl seconds
@mr.phat_tastic95127 жыл бұрын
Joel Robinson additionally when I tried to arm n fire instantly, when I slid to arm it wudnt slide to arm when I let go it slid back instantly it took several tries to get it to arm n fire on multiple cues

Lmao! I've been trying to finish my video on the Firefly system, but have been waiting for feedback/answers from their marketing team. Yeah, right now I have no idea how they will handle this in the future. I was under the impression that brands had to pay a licensing fee to get their products on there, but currently Black Cat owns the rights. Personally, that was their biggest mistake as that isolates a HUGE majority of consumer firework users. Only time will tell if they fix this. Even the ability to add simple text placeholders would be sufficient for most users.

Not currently. This is pulled from their website. "We are working on updates, and you may be able to in the future, but at the moment only one FireFly module can be connected to your device at a time."

You can get a cheap remote chinese system for less than 50 bucks and use Talons or I-matches. This is a ridiculously expensive system for the casual shooter and a complete joke for a real shooter.
