Firefly Communication: Risks and Rewards

There used to be fireflies where I live but no more. It makes me so sad. I miss them.

@@jamesducey2685 Huh! I wonder why they disappeared! Do you have any ideas? Did the habitat change in some way or something?

The habitat is stable. The fireflies were once common. The crickets are also gone. Butterflies are lacking with Valentine despite ample beneficial habitat. Tried to blame bug spraying but this city effort has been blocked and the insecticide is supposedly manufactured to only kill mosquitoes. Never did my reality include missing bugs, yet it does now. Thank you for increasing awareness of our neighbors of the land.
