I can't say I'm surprised at Hybrid doing this 'meh' for the level of investment needed. Trying to build for cv as well as beeak just isn't worth it imo. Doesn't help that she has no crit traces like boothill (even though boot's raw damage isn't that high compared to his added break damage) to incentivise touching crit. Thank the lord its v1 FF. Hopefully, they'll allow her to detonate her own break at a later stage. I personally don't like the idea of a unit being chained to another specific unit to actually get the stats we built to function properly. (No this is not the same as Jingliu, Kafka, Acheron) Thanks for testing out this hybrid build, by the way, even if it wasn't super optimized omega perfect gameplay.

THat's beacuse this hybrid team is terrible. the op is stacking for 360% break effect for 40% def ignore when you only need 250 for 30%. That extra 10% isn't worth the potential stats that can be put into actual attack or crit. Also, if they were going hybrid with 250% break, they wouldn't need HMC and instead would use either Robin, Ruanmei, Asta, Bronya, Sparkle, etc.

i dont get what you call 'meh' this is alr descent, she can 2 hit an elite enemy, what you expect her to just one shot them? and they are not even fire weak to begin with, which should make things faster with the breaking, and to just rely on break effect alone there is a huge diminishing return and her kit actually scales of atk and be, so having no crit is such a waste, and would have to rely on HTB super break only. not all characters need to be acheron level of damage per screenshot. her enhanced skill scaling also caps at 360 be.

@danishhaziq1088 I didn't expect nor do I want her to nuke anything in one hit with a hybrid build. I call it meh because of the unrealistic stat investment required only to end up with damage where her super break is STILL the vast majority of her damage. I was under the impression that a hybrid build would even out the damage distribution of her raw damage to break damage. I was wrong since, again, super break just did that much more damage compared to crit for the investment needed in crit. You tell me that it would be faster to break if the enemies were weak to fire but that quite literally doesn't matter with Firefly. She implants fire weakness when she targets an enemy for 2 turns. So that was her maximum break potential

@kienmaple As much as I want to have faith here, that's not happening. My interpretation of a "hybrid build" is one that takes advantage of Firefly's ability to deal massive break damage coupled with some raw crit stats. The issue with what you said is that the moment you remove HMC Firefly's damage plummets hard because of lack of access to super break. The damage could be great, yes but the moment you compare it to what it could have been, it's just saddening. From what I've seen mathematically, hybrid no matter how hard you try will always be terrible. You can reach a point where at super high nigh-perfect relics the damage from hybrid and full break are equivalent but again, this is with relics that are nearly perfect in their distribution. Imagine the time and effort it would take to get God roll relics just to get within 1% of someone just stacking break effect. This is why I call the damage meh for the investment required and why I say hybrid will always be inferior.

@@RomBeams8840 abt the fire weak, i meant if they were both weak to fire, gallagher and ff would've cleared it faster, since her dmg is splash damage same with gallagher. her weakness application only apply to a single target at a time. and yes I understand your standpoint now about crit not being better than the super break, but then again there is both break support there and not your normal atk, crit support so its bound to be better and also whats wrong with her break being better than her crit. also i dont thk tht build is super unrealistic or anythg, so imo she is still stronk 🤷 also she is a break dps how can you not expect her to rely only the 2 be support that we currently have

What i'm seeing here is a perfect powercreep scenario, if they don't buff her... She's borning with a death time on her back. I give 3 months to hoyo completely power creep firefly. . They will realease a char with a lot of superbreak in it's onw kit. And then, bye bye fire fly. It's so obvious it's not even funny.

yup honestly alittle dissapointed even if it's a 3 cycle clear with a maxed out build acheron can do it in 2. though firefly is more f2p compared to boothill & acheron which is a plus side

@@negat1vekd927 Good question Boothill best team is Bronya E1 + Ruan mei + A Limited 5 star sustain / gallagher. HTB is not really that good for Boothill unless the fight gets dragged on but usually it won't happen. Firefly only needs ruan mei as a 5 star unit. sustain wise gallagher is insane due to his fire element

unfortunately bronya or sparkle is insanely bad with firefly, took me 3 cycles longer just to clear moc. just doesn't have enough break dmg. though their a good replacement till you have ruan mei or a future break harmony support

@@einfachnikola5965 yes i thought of that too, it's because ruanmei gives like 2-3x more break dmg during super break, whereas bronya or sparkle with enhanced firefly skill barely deals 100k dps & the main issue is that firefly isn't like boothill where he has break delay, firefly has none where HTB Break delay isn't enough to stall enemies for them to skip a turn where you need another source which is ruan mei. also another major con is that 50% weakness break efficeny just from firefly enhanced isn't enough she really needs ruan mei extra weakness break

I think the Flames Afar LC could work well with Firefly. It boosts Damage and heals a bit, too.

@@HSRGuides I'm so tired of having to tell people like that that it's not blameworthy for her to be able to carry her best SP even though in reality it might be her fatal weakness but the solution is extremely cheap. BH throughout his test versions also had to constantly edit to create stable damage and during that process, no one complained when holding HTB. FF is only v1 and people are finding every reason to criticize her. That chart popping up all over social media about HTB being the "main source of damage" is the most trash I've ever seen. Why would they compare a heavily modified character with stable damage to a v1 character whose damage difference is no more than 100k?

​@@user-og3kp1jv9l damn don't pay attention to it, she's great! i believe everyone wants to pull for FF & their just dissapointed that they have to use HMC & RM & their all hoping till v3 for the insane buffs for FF. personally even if she doesn't get buffed i'm pulling for her she can do 1or 2 cycle clears even at V1 which is already near or equal to acheron plus shes usable in all contents
