Kit is fine right now it works well enough to be a top tier dps if they released her now. Only real "problem" is for people not pulling for Ruan mei whether because they have no jades or they don't like her for some reason as she is just a huge boost to the break playstyle and there is not many break supports right now.

i wish they hadn’t gotten rid of the def ignore in her og kit tbh, and i think more superbreak needs to be added to her kit ! i’m going to assume that they plan on adding more break and superbreak enablers and supports in the future to optimize her, but for now she seems pretty fine

I'm pretty sure there are still people out there wanting to build her hybrid crit and break like Xueyi so that even if enemy lock their toughness bar she can still brute force through crits while Boothill is basically worse than wind Dan Heng if he doesn't break the enemy.

Just some minor add on. U can reach 210 spd on Firefly without any spd subs. 104 base spd 5 spd from trace 25 spd from boots 6.2 spd from 2pc planar 10.4 spd from RM talent 60 spd from Ult = 210.6 spd Edit: Yes, weakness break efficiency is additive Edit 2: No, super break damage doesnt scale off Fire dmg boost. So her mainstats are Atk%, spd, atk% and break effect. The conversion of atk to BE does exist but BE rope gives 64.8% BE while atk rope gives 43.2%. Atk robe would then only give 40% BE through conversion

1 thing most people don't consider about FF'S break style is that you can afford to run a sustainless team for most moc stages because enemies barely have any breathing room to hit you enough to be a problem, making her pretty f2p friendly by not having to roll for sustain units. It just so happens that Gallagher pairs with her extremely well being able to whittle down toughness bars, giving break dmg vulnerability, and providing decent super break damage of his own with HMC

I think your take is 70% going to be happen, here's the thing SOMEHOW, traditional damage boost like robin & ruan mei doesn't affect superbreak damage, which when they say ruan mei is MEANT for break team, it really isn't, her break effect & break efficiency is what makes her "good" On firefly, you can play dot team and get better results more than firefly can achieve SOMEHOW, the likes of atk boost from robin doesn't convert into break, that's mean if you ask who's the worst support for ff then the answer is robin New mechanic huh, no wonder they trying & experimenting things with her, and when things go south, you get hit by "its not a bug, its a feature" Move... If traditional damage boost (WHICH THE BEST KIND OF OFFENSIVE BUFF) doesn't work on her, well thing is looking bleak I forgot to mention her sckas* light cone, where other dps got raw stat and unconditional buff/debuff, this experiment unit somehow get such a basic lightcone that even misha/aeon doesn't feel the difference, it's SO PATHETIC that hoyo goes far by nerfing her talent so that aeon getting less value and sign sells more 😏

@@Jerome7-v5uDaniel was fine, his dps was on par with jingliu when both of them released (slightly less iirc when both at e0, at e1 he got ahead) Basically, daniel forced you to build a team with sp positive chars to support him. And Jingliu was for the braindead players. (Im guilty for that) If it was impossible to build Daniel without sparkle, i would agree, but i saw alot of Daniel and way to much Jingliu gmeplay to surmise they were both pretty equal. Basically what sparkle did, was ”now you dont have to think anymore, and im your best support and now you have way higher damage/cycle than even a Jingliu/blade team” Edit: so far in hsr, its basically: all new characters are good, and work well enough to be competitive, but a future character might synergize so much with the character that it gives old charcters a 2nd wind.
