So why does she need a buff again? Shes doing 500k, yes HMC and rm is needed but like, my acheron needs pela

Acheron doesn't need Pela. She has options like Silver Wolf, Kafka, Black Swan, Guinaifen. Firefly doesn't. She needs TB, without them she deals almost no damage. This might not seem to be a big problem because TB is free. But it locks you out of using any other trailblazer. Using Firefly technically locks you out of using 2-6 other characters, (6 once we have all TB paths). And who knows, maybe the other TBs will be just as good as HTB.

She doesn't. Her best team prolly isnt out yet, just like how kafka was when she first came out, when nihility was bad

@@baeleth6469 Out of all the options Acheron has that you listed, only one of them is a 4-star (Guinaifen). Also, Acheron does need Pela. Pela is the only 4-star character in the game so far that can reduce def and Acheron benefits from that more than any other debuff. So in a realistic Acheron team, You would need Pela to maximize the damage leaving you with only 2 characters left to slot, just like Firefly. Istg the arrival of a DPS like Acheron has ruined the perception of what a meta DPS should be. People only look at the numbers now and not the overall utility and ease of use they provide. Both Firefly and Acheron are restrictive characters, in that they need a specific team comp in order to maximize their damage. Like, duh, isn't that what team building is supposed to be? What's the problem with having HTB glued to Firefly? Even if she's a more independent DPS people are still going to pair the two of them together to MAXIMIZE the damage. Let's be honest here, aside from Boothill who else can fully utilize HTB's kit and where/why would you use his Destruction and Preservation form anyway?

@@MalciferMephisto 5 star options are options. You said Acheron needs Pela, which is objectively incorrect. A character being straight-up *useless* without her BiS support is a problem. It restricts team building and again, Trailblazer will get 4 more paths in the future that you will not be able to use if you also want to use Firefly. Synergy is good, dependance is bad. It's not bad that TB is required to maximize Firefly's damage. It's bad that she deals no significant damage without TB. Acheron has plenty of good options and even an Eidolon that eases her restrictions. Firefly is forever glued to HTB.

@@baeleth6469 You somehow have the ability to grasp that TB can get more paths in the future but can't understand that more characters will be released alongside that? You're acting as if HTB will be the only character capable of providing super break in the future. Is HSR incapable of releasing a 4-star super break support? Or a limited character better than HTB? Take a look at Kafka. Before Black Swan she wasn't even considered a must use for teams, now people won't even dare to separate the two of them. Another thing I'd like to point out is, this is only Firefly's V1 kit. There's bound to be changes so save your "need a buff" demands for when her final kit comes out.
