maybe i am getting it wrong, but i have the feeling farming relics for firefly might turn into hell on earth.. like stated in the video she likes attack... according to the latest dreams at least 3400.. she loves break effect.. referring to the same dream she would love to have at least 250% up to 360%. if the dreams about the new relics become reality as well 250% should be the minimum to aim for on top of that she still also loves having crit stats.. oh lord have mercy

@@Not_Kritikalshe’s by a longshot highest damage output in the game at E0S0, E1S0, E0S1, E2S1 and E6S5, but that’s under specific conditions. She is absolutely the hardest character in the game to build around and play with. Gallagher for one is her best in slot support, and he’s one of if not the hardest full sustains to run, now especially with her niche requirements. Asta can run with her making her like 220 SPD at base speed or something silly like that, but that’s under super specific conditions also, like Cogs Cycling. She’s also only viable over advance units if you can maintain her stacks. THEN, THE ADVANCE UNITS. You know how you advance Jingliu and she goes POWPOWPOW and everything dies? That isn’t how that works here, for Firefly to even stay alive, you need to run a couple skills. Skills cost skill points. The only real damage output she has is her enhanced skill when in her combustion state. You need to have some serious SP manipulation to run 160 Bronya there. If your Bronya is E2S1, and your Firefly is E1, this become a lot easier to maintain. Then comes the problem of sustaining the primary and secondary support. You have to run a fire break character alongside her, that’s a massive DMG% buff! You’re either playing break effect Asta or BE Gallagher. Ruan Mei doesn’t really like Gallagher as the one and only sustain, you entire team will be extremely squishy, especially since firefly willingly drops 50% of her MaxHP on skill use. Idk, it’s very much a difficult unit to main, especially early game. But it’s a really really fun one with tons of depth. Imo, it’s the most perfect and well thought out character.

​@@soulfulhuman8724 Bro you DONT EVER use a break character without Harmony Trailblazer, you are losing out on too much dmg. Same thing goes with Ruan Mei. A no-sustain team is very viable with Firefly, Harmony TB, Ruan Mei, Asta or you could run Gallagher instead of Asta. HTB delays weakness broken enemies by 30%, Ruan Mei delays them even further, Asta gives you insane speed and deals alot of toughness dmg and is actually really good because Firefly actually implants a Fire weakness. And before you say firefly would be a glass-cannon, She self healing like blade and insane dmg reduction like Fu Xuan.

Firefly's LC honestly seems like the most replaceable LC we've seen to date. Misha's LC will give her 4% less BE but 30% crit rate for 2 turns when she ults. The 15% DMG from her LC's debuff when you break someone just isn't so great you'd need that over Misha's, unless they actually make it better. They are both Gacha cones though. Even if you don't like Crit FF, it's not like you'd have to build a lot of it to have her crit often with this LC, and you can get about 274 BE pretty easily with the new sets when you reach 3k ATK with a break effect rope. You do need 86% BE in subs to get the most ignore Def though (This is standalone without RM's or HMC's buffs. With these two, you basically just need 36% BE in subs if your HMC is at least 200% BE). SPD, BE, Crit, w/e tank subs fit after the breakpoints.

Btw, pull the character you think you’ll like playing with the most. If an Eidolon brings more than just DMG%, like team building depth which would enable a silly or interesting team you really want to run, get that one too. Jingliu is a really easy and versatile character to run. She is still the best as a main DPS for most people. Acheron is not that easy to minmax, her lightcone is difficult to get around, her relics are very limited to one set, her kit depends on consistent debuff application, she needs DEF% shred to work. She is amazing for farming though, a massive QoL character and the best one we’ll see for a LONG TIME. Firefly is easily the highest DMG% in the game, zero doubt. She can consistently do, if built correctly, 2~ million damage per ult cast 1 time per cycle. That’s not easy to get to though. Her kit is very difficult to play around with, but it’s super fun to play around with. So many more possible meta combinations than the previous two.

If you easily get bored when just blowing everything up tho I wouldn’t recommend. I don’t get bored easy and that shot of dopamine when I slap an elite mob for 1.7-2.5 mil never gets old for me.

How Mihoyo forcefully nullify Tingyun synergy, is like when you have an iPhone that uses lightning port, and suddenly they released the next iPhone using USB type-C. Literally no other reason other than it made all the lightning cable you have invested irrelevant. Logically it made sense that Tingyun should be good for her, but they changed one part of her kit *specifically* to shaft Tingyun. In other words, the anti-synergy they made feels contrived.

And why I said that is yes ATK and SPD is great however Energy isn’t a prb meanwhile that other 2 can give you can extra turn and or a Massive boost to her Break potential. And they put scale TY by a lot so ya of she’s your only option then of course use her however if you have Sparkle/HMC then just use one of the 2.

What I don't understand is why she needs to be able to implant fire weakness? I can understand for boothill cuz hes single target but she's destruction so she's likely blast dmg. Why make it break related at all? We all saw how broken acheron is with her all res pen built into her kit but now we have a semi-aoe dps who implant her own weakness. You likely won't ever need another dps in your team. It's too early to drop the elemental weakness mechanic.

The problem is if new dps can't implant or ignore weaknesses than they will just be behind Acheron at this point who has all res pen and universal toughness reduction in an aoe attack. For a break dps like Firefly if she can't break any enemy than she is going to be niche since breaking enemy is what her kit is all about. We've had SIlver Wolf for a long time that could implant weaknesses and basically made one side of MOC on element no matter who you used and now with Mono Quantum basically all future quantum dps can break anybody guaranteed. Elemental weakness mechanic wasn't that interesting to begin with honestly all it did was recommend you to use one element over another or you can't break enemy which is very important in boss battles where you can interrupt big attacks when you weakness break an enemy. Game is more exciting when they use more interesting mechanics like something unto death "killing" the first two people taking action or Sam boss molten core state using up his hp giving you an option to keep him in the mode if you can outsustain him, use 5 attack skills, or break him instead of only having one option.

This is completely different since shes outright eliminating her counters. All res pen makes fighting counters easier but it was never meant to completely remove a weakness like with her here. Sam is literally the most f2p character in the game. You don't even need stat rolls? You just need baseline stats, atk orb chest - spd boots, BE rope. That's literally it. Oh yeah, 10% ATK (or 130 ATK) from all of your gear combined. The most f2p i dont agree with that she need a tons of sub stats to make her doing dmg she's not beneffit from break effect since her skill skill just scal on BE not doing any break dmg at all so she will hardly depend on harmony mc if you want to trigger the break dmg For me i find boothill the most f2p character right now he just need BE and speed and he will be able to doing a massive break dmg even without the super break of the HTB but firefly need him alot which doesn't allow for a lot of support options You will see this problems in the beta for sure

Misha LC has BE tho it is a banner LC only (and has some other issues when equipped on Firefly) MOC shop LC with Sam art on it is also incredibly good for her and I'd say it offers more DMG than her own sig Firefly's current Sig is ASS, I really hope they change it, yes the BE is nice and it is needed, but otherwise the LC is TERRIBLE.... we're gonna see a lot of changes until her release tho so who knows what it will all end up looking like I will be pulling 100% tho, maybe even eidolons, but her Sig LC needs to change or that one is a skip even if that means I need to use BE rope her BE requirements aren't that big of a deal, but you do need Ruan Mei and Harmony Trailblazer also, if they start nerfing her I will nuke china

ye she needs the attack and even tho no break effect on it its extra dmg on weakness broken enemys so it will be useful on her but there probs will be either new 4* thats better or there is mishas 4* which so far feel like her best f2p

As someone who also has E2 Dhil, it feels bad to see Firefly have a kit thats a copy of his E2 but better in every way. She is also break focused so she is naturally easier to build, not to mention the Fire implant. Acheron was bad enough, cause at E0 she actually matches E2 Dhil with 2 Nihil and 1 Trend lc tank. If she is as strong as Acheron at E0, then we will know she officially powercrept E2 Dhil.
