Thnaks for your comparisons! You deserve more upvotes🥳 You got me considering the SFT70 6500k over the XHP70 6500k 70cri. The only thing hindering me is the fear it might be even more greenish on lower levels than the XHP70, how is yours? 🙂

Thank you! My SFT70 6,500K is a bit greener at lower power levels, but mid ramp to turbo, it cleans up nicely. It's not terribly bad honestly, but just depends on what one is looking for in a light. Knowing that I wasn't going for a high CRI tint queen with this particular light, but rather maximum output of candela and lumens both, I'm perfectly happy with it. I would think that the XHP70.3 HI 6,500K, would probably be a little cleaner than the SFT70 6,500K at lower power levels, perhaps. Just depends on how much candela one is looking to achieve though, I suppose. XHP70.3 HI 6,500K is another great emitter for high output, but it just won't produce as much top end candela as the SFT70 6,500K, due to the smaller light emitting surface of the SFT70. XHP70.3 HI has a bit more lumens, and SFT70 has a bit more candela. Thanks for watching! 👍

@@2throwfar Yeah I feel what you mean. My X1L has the XHP70.3 HI 6500k 1A P2 (was listed with 4500 Lumen at FFL instead of the 3800 of other 70cri XHP70's) in it, together with the LLC59U. It is not a thrower, however it throws quite far just by force haha. Anyhow it is veryy minor greenish, which turns pure white around 20% power. T1R outthrows it easily with the smaller TIR, 6A driver and SFT40 anyway :D

what battery did you use/do you recommend in the ffl x1l?

@g0ttam Thanks for the question. I use a Vapcell T50 in my X1L's. Nice balance of capacity and current both. The designer of the Lume X1 driver, Loneoceans, recommended some batteries for the X1 driver in a reddit comment recently. Here is his quote also: "...as a side note, the Lume X1 portion of the driver does draw 40W and work best with high drain cells such as the Molicel P50/45/42s, as well as the Samsung 50S / Vapcell T50."
