This station feels really warm and comfortable! I love that SMFR provides each station with the tools and equipment to feel at home!

Capt Edward’s, came across this video from the DPS and MSP in Minnesota. I know the bigger departments have enough calls for teaching, but these rural department, this may be a Great Idea for teaching! If ya can pass it up to the Chief’s it might be a Great idea for training. Sincerely submitted, Rick K. EMTP retired God Bless, and keep putting up the Great video’s, because we Love them. Thank you.

First, I want to thank you for what you do. As a retired member of the military I understand the sacrifices that you guys make to keep us safe. Next, I want to let you knowhuow awesome these videos are. They are very informative and well put together. Also, I'm a big fan of behind the scenes type videos. Along with videos that show the crews in action.

The thing I love about SMFR's infrastructure is your stations are all unique, I have yet to see a cookie cutter design anywhere, and to combine that with a familiar service and friendly faces that are open to the public is just phoneminal.

For the age of the station and the fact that it is over-populated according to the specs when built, this is a really nice and liveable station. Goes to show what you can do if you plan for the future and not just current demand. Wish my departement would learn a thing or two from that... :/
@jasonproctor98963 жыл бұрын
The way that South Metro puts attention to detail into their stations really tells you what kind of department it is. South Metro seems like the type of place you dream about working for one day.

I hear 30 stations... and shrug... there's almost 50 in Calgary. Sadly when I have talked to the Chiefs about something like this channel... seems there is too much in the way of wanting to do it! It is enjoyable to hear more, as I rarely get to do anything, and it's mostly in and out as I service MDT, when I'm the one from the IT team that is tapped to do the update rounds, since due to not wanting to take a chance, the updates are not pushed remotely.
