I don't know why, but your videos have a certain authenticity that many other bushcraft clips miss. Give us more, please!

Helpful hint. Keep a few bean bags and a small bean bag pillow. Lay the next to the fire so they can absorb some heat. Put the bean bags in your pockets and zip the pillow up in your coat. This will help keep you warm.

We use the same rule with the hardwoods as well. The rule of firewood is the same.... gather what you think you need.... then double it.

Very nicely done, mate. I've been out many a time without a sleeping bag and it's hard but doable. I suppose you save a lot of weight by not taking it. If you can carry it and not planning long hikes, then better to take the bag. All a matter of opinion though)) thanks for sharing))

Canadian Bushcraft.... thanks a lot for the quick reply! We are not that far =) I would like to know if you offer Training/Education sessions live to a group or individuals and if so, if you can share the link of the schedule to check it out. I really like how structure and thorough your approach to teaching is! Thanks again for posting your videos! Cheers

I tried this type of fire once and failed. The amount of heat was going up and down constantly, i was either way too hot with the flames up after adding fuel, then the next minute i was getting cold as the flame went low again. Then again it may have been the quality of wood used... Thinking back I suspect most of it was rotten past expiry date :)
