Hi Marlo! Although it's come & gone, post Merry Christmas wishes & Happy New Year's too! My area had a cool get together with Free yummy food ( Pot Roast, Smoked Turkey & smoked ham along with other yummies!) & then in New Year's, there was a cool Reggae Show with Roots If Creation followed up by Grateful Dub who infuses Grateful Dead songs with Reggae! Not much happening now but, my area's getting some hardcore Grindcore bands @ a place that, as far as I know, never had anybody doing original metal stuff in it on 1/19. No idea if you like that kind of music but, say something & I'll give you more details. If you decide to come up for it, since it's happening @ a local brewery, I'll snag you a beer!

Hey Marlo! I really like this! One of the things I really like the most is it's interchangeable with different brands of stoves. I get tired of something only being compatible with one brand or their own brand and nothing else. I hope this is a trend in outdoor gear. Little things like the pour spout are very nice to have. You did your usual great review! In this case it was a great reminder to not just automatically take someone's word for something. It's always good to check things out for oneself as you did. Hey Marlo Happy New Year to you and great video i have the Fire Maple star X2 black , had an issue with the burner getting clogged up and wouldn't work but fire maple did send me out a new burner tested it out last night and I'm am please to report that its working just fine , I also have their FEAST 4 aluminum cookware which is great , I'll be out with a video on both as soon as the weather breaks we just got hit with 8" of snow I'll have a video up soon.

Eric is using the fire maple G3 and he is correct it doesn't fit. You're using the fire maple G2 and it does fit.

The Prd..pocket rocket deluxe, will not fit into the slots on the G3 pot without modification. You can of course always just place the pot on the stove without using the slots, but it's so much more efficient if you do. Kovea spider works with both pots as well as my favorite stove soto windmaster with the three prong attachment. I'm really impressed with the G2, we've used it on several patrols with the windmaster and we all agree it's a great setup.

Hi, the smaller G3 can fit the small 100g canister and various brands of stove etc which is great for 1 or 2 nights re how much gas is used. I love the G2 but the reason i got it was so i xould fit the bigger gas cartridge but im struggling to find a stove that fits in the pot with the bigger gas cartridge, have you found a stove that fits inside the G2 with the bigger gas. Hello.. yes you’re right on that point. The larger gas can does fit in the G2 but I also found theres no room for a stove unfortunately… just the can and a cloth fits in there with a larger gas canister. I haven’t found a stove that will fit inside the G2 using the larger gas can.
