Geez, Louis! I've 2 of these saws, and no one ever mentioned all this time, that you need to lubricate or wax my saw blades!! Now I can finally figure out how to use them.🎉

❤ Amazing talent & ingenuity! I’ve been watching all of your Lessons & I am ready to go shopping! My niece’s Ballet recital is next weekend & I think she’d love a few little somethings customized to her liking. A treat for her hard work & perseverance.💜 She enjoys all the crafty stuff just like me. I hope that this is the beginning of something we can share & enjoy in the near future. God knows what he does💜🩵

Great video! It would be incredible to have the name of each tool, listed, a link to each of the tools and what they were used for, in the description area. I'm sure you'd get way more sales. 🥰

The problem with this video is that you need a lot of expensive tools, with very expensive postage if you live outside the USA. If you were to make a video of how to make findings with a flush cutter, wire and things you have around the house, now that would be really helpful.
@petadoptionsnetwork2667 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree. At least show a version that doesn't require all the additional gear to be able to do.
@juliesczesny90 Жыл бұрын
I'd suggest using wooden dowels, with a notch in them, to start out making jump rings. I do use flush cutters, all the way down. I then flip my flush cutters around, and snip the angled end of each jump ring, and snip it with the nice, flush cut end. So when you use it, just grab each side with small pliers, pull open gently, as usual. Then giggle slightly, as you close back. Voila - flat ends mate, no one will ever know that tiny difference 😊.

Excellent video, thank you!! I do have a question. In regards to the fishhook ear wires, I noticed you didn't file down the end that would be inserted in the ear. If it is cut flush like you described, is it not usually necessary to file it?
@FireMountainGems2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cristy. Thanks for watching and we're happy to hear you liked the video. Yes, if you use the flush cutter correctly, filing isn't necessary. It doesn't mean that you can't file it if you wanted to make sure the surface was to your liking.

Hello I’m enjoying your video as i am new to this but just looking at the wire you are using, can you tell me if it is the silver filled or solid sterling silver wire?

The silver colored wire is ParaWire www.firemountaingems.com/shop/parawire-wire_wrapping_wire-silver_colored

Hi. Do y'all sell surgical steel guages of wire there at Fire Mountain?
@FireMountainGems2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tracy. Adding the word Surgical to a Stainless Steel alloy’s name does not make it a better grade of steel. Technically, it is all Stainless Steel, with varying elements per alloy. The alloys in Stainless Steel are Steel (iron with carbon) Chromium and Nickel, plus small amounts of other trace elements. Together these alloys create a strong, scratch resistant, high strength metal. We offer stainless steel wire and you can find it here: www.firemountaingems.com/shop/steel-wire_wrapping_wire Let us know if we can be of any other assistance.

This video is great and thanks for that, but the problem is , buying all that tools that she has , is more expensive than buying the findings on line , some other video also showed how to make the findings with simple ways and spend less money ❤️
@FireMountainGems11 ай бұрын
That very well may be and we understand. It's really to show when you're in a pinch and need one of these findings, you can make it yourself with supplies you possibly already have on hand. Thanks for watching!

This tutorial does not show how to make the ball pins. I can see them already made like in copper or rose wire but it's not explained in the video 😟☹️

Looks time consuming. You have to cut the coil in half. How can I make many at one time??
@FireMountainGems2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lorena - this specific tool does only allow a certain coil length at a time but you could make a long coil and section it for use with this tool, or use another technique to create jumprings. We have more resources available that might help here - bit.ly/3ziWGXs. Thanks for watching!
