You inspired me and I made a lapis ring. You can see the similarities but it’s different because it’s lapis and crystal and a butterfly but thank you for inspiring me.❤on FB

I loved the Magic Corners. As a 70 yr old with bad knees, that would be the most accessible. Though you said it was expensive, if it would save on doctor visits, I’d invest in them.

I am making a citrine and golden jade gemstone necklace what string would you recommend as i need it strong and to be able to knot it. I tried s lon thread doubled up but its slips and i tried crimping it and it still slipped out. I want a strong beading thread that i can just knot at the end as its only for myself any recomendations please?

Another great option would be Griffin nylon thread, which is made for stringing pearls and beads. Here is our selection of Griffin nylon thread: firemtn.co/4eGVnV2 We have some other great brands as well. You can search all of our thread here: firemtn.co/4fVIVBE

Does anyone consider that the two sides of the Tila bead are slightly different? One side is slightly domed in the middle, and the other side is flatter. I have to make sure I’m using the same side of each bead. Also, how do you decide how long to make the bracelet?

Since this bracelet has the power cord running through both sides, you will need two pieces that are just over the size of your wrist. Then it is good to have some extra length to work with to account for the knots and size of the beads. In this video, we started with 12 inch pieces, but if your wrist, for example, is 6 or 7 inches, you could probably get away with using around 10 inch pieces. As your getting close to adding all of the beads it also helps to hold it up to your wrist to see the size and then you can continue to add more beads, or stop where you are at once it fits your wrist.

Unfortunately that is not an application we have tried, so we cannot say for certain whether it will work or not on the fiberglass resin.

How do you use the gold multi strand clasp ? I have a clasp that looks like that and I’m having a hard time finding a video on how it attaches to pieces
@FireMountainGems5 күн бұрын
Hello! We do not have a video on this specific clasp, but here is how to use it: Start by making a crimped end on a piece of Accuflex (no loop). Thread through one of the holes so the crimp sits inside the clasp. Thread on beads. Thread the end through the corresponding hole on the opposite side of the clasp, crimp the end. on the opposite side of the hole so its inside the clasp. Repeat for the remaining two holes. Alternatively, one could crimp a long piece of Accuflex, thread it through the end-most hole so the crimp sits inside the clasp, thread on beads, thread through the corresponding opposite hole then back through the middle hole, thread on beads, thread through the corresponding opposite hole, back through the other end-most hole, thread on beads, then crimp in the opposite end hole. so you only end up having to crimp twice. Hope this helps. Thanks!

According to Michaels which had a tutorial right before yours. They claim that all that crimping that you're doing was wrong. You might want to take a look at their tutorial because they claim the way you're doing it. It will all fall apart. Just a helpful tip

We appreciate the feedback! There are different techniques when it comes to crimping. This video shows our preferred technique that our jewelry designers use as well!

I bought 3 druzy stones from firemountain 2 of which I paid $16. They were horrible. Scratched everywhere. The cut was bad. The entire back was some king of bumpy stuff and scuffed. So for just these 2 stones $32 +tax + delivery of 6. I called Fire Mountain. Person on the phone says the picture in book doesn’t show any imperfections. Ok they were professionally photographed. Anyway said I could return at my own expense. I took to post office. Problem was due to weight would have cost close to what I paid. Call firemoutain back. They could care less. Bottom line I traded them. That’s my experience with this company. Does this make it negative, no
