The oldest woman in my community is 101. She briefly discribed to me the first time she saw a banana. She saw a classmate peel and eat it. She ran home, and told her mother that her classmate had had a strange type of corn. She had taken off the corn and eaten the cob! Her mother had to explain what a banana was. The food section of the video reminder me of that story.

I think one of the biggest culture shocks would be the French kings, Paris would be nearly unreconizable from it's Medieval incarnation, with maybe Nortre Dame being one of the few familiar landmarks, and the Louvre has changed from a castle to a fancy museum full of tourists

Similar to how the original kings gained power. It does all boil down to the masses being willing to abide. Charlemagne would likely be familiar with this concept, while his successors centuries later may have a different view since power was more often inherited than gained through action.

It would be kinda funny to unite the English, French and Italian monarchs in horror about how the British "oopsing" a colony led to the creation of a military power capable of destroying the collective military forces of Europe and Turkey. Also, just the idea of a nuke, effectively being a weapon that is a small, synthetic, sun that can be dropped on an enemy, would be completely unthinkable to any of them.

Ancient people actually had an incredible understanding of the stars and how the sky relates to the seasons, weather, etc. I mean how else would they know what day of the year it is? There’s star charts from 30,000 years ago, so I’m pretty sure if humans could make detailed maps of the stars from Earth’s perspective 30,000 years ago, they had a pretty good understanding 1,000 years ago.

Highly doubt there are any star charts from 30 000 years ago. There wasn't writing until 5000 years ago, and as you should know from your school experience, chart creation is on a higher skill level than writing. Thus if they had the higher skill of chart creation 30k years ago, where is the lower skill of writing from 30k years ago? Just because a guy in a white lab coat says that something is from 30k years ago, doesn't mean that it is so. It's possible that the rock the star chart is on is from 30k years ago, but that doesn't mean that the engraving is from 30k years ago. The engraving is at best only 5000 years old.

I would definitely caution anyone from our era to not underestimate the intellectual speed and capabilities of someone from ancient or mediaeval times. I think that they would shock you with their intelligence. I think that simply the necessities of their day-to-day lives required far more intellectual capability just in order to survive then what our daily lives require of us today. People also fear what they don't understand, though. You had people who lived through the industrial revolution who spent the rest of their lives misunderstanding how electricity worked & what the actual dangers were. I kind of fear getting anyone from the past who was Christian or Muslim into the present, they would be terrified for a time then enthralled for a little bit, but would quickly come to resent & fear everyone & everything, assume you are some kind of Satanic trick plaguing them & become extremely hostile. More ancient Pagans might be more likely to just find stuff that isn't like their own cultures amusing, but it's hard to say. Modern movies would eff them up, as we're all desensitized from it. They told similar kinds of stories, but hearing about something & seeing it are two different things. Remember that movies from pre-1990 that have laughably bad effects don't bother us now, but shocked, awed & terrified people at the time. Imagine jumping an ancient person directly into a modern film with violence or horror or gore.

1 : electricity is the same energy as the energy of lightning. We just manage to harness it, create it and use it at our advantage. 2 : This "Made in china" label says that this contraptions are made from a far-eastern nation named "the people's republic of china". Once known for it's silk and spices, now known for it's many cheap products bought by commoners. 3 : Canada is a land that exist in the north of America, a continent which is beyond the Atlantic. It is a country that was once land of the britons. 4 : Communism is an idea where wealth is supposedly equally redistributed to every one and where there is no social classes. While this idea seems good, it has lead to the death of many people, the ruining of the state and many other odds. I hope that those questions are satisfactory for you, my liege.

This is the most unique reasons in my opinion if our medievel kings could time travel to today: 1.Why do some people are so culturally obsessed with other people's culture *(example: K-Pop, the 'Boos', being bored with their own racial identity, white/Black lifestyle)* instead of elvolving and making their own race as powerful as them. 2.Why do people nowadays idolize a figure who just gain a lot of recognition, doing stupid dances/Looks handsome/pretty ONLY, wealthy lifestyle on their own INSTEAD of honouring a figure that has changed the history of this world, making a huge contribution and impact to humanity like it was in the old to ancient times 😭😭😢 3. How could Some nation with a trumendous amount of diversity/multiculturalism could co-exist with each other peacefully?? Since in the old times, difference within the aspect of life is one of the cause of war, chaos, destruction of an empire E.T.C
